I hear the rustle of the leaves, the change of wind, and the snap of twigs. I found him. I come out of my spot, still hidden in plain sight. I follow the sound of his footsteps, I moved quiet and quickly. I could hear him trying to run away. I reach for my gun that lies in my back pocket. I can full see him now. He is trying to hear for my movements. He slowly turns around, to meet my eyes. I hold the gun out in front of me and shoot. Bang! Bang! The sound ricochets throughout the forest. Finally, I got him. I go to grab him, reaching for his furry feet. When I see a trail of blood. I was perplexed, I killed the fox in two clean shots, why is there a trail of blood leading away? I slowly get up from my crouched position to follow the trail of blood. Each drop becomes larger until I see a puddle of that crimson colour. I hear teeth scrapping flesh off a bone. The wind starts howling as I creep behind a dense bush to have a closer look. I see an arm, a slender and tan arm, a women's arm. I go closer to help her; it looks like she fell. As I reach closer, I see a bloody hand reach out and grab her. Her body is swung around, and then I see her face. Pale, beaten, and bloody. Her eyes wide open and lifeless, a lone tear finally drips out, mixing with the dark dirt and cold blood.
