Back in the basement, but this time, a zip tie held my hands together.
Kristoph paced back and forth, realizing I woke up.
"Ah. Good night. It's 10pm. You were out for a very long time." He put his hands on his knees, his back hunched a bit.
I sighed. "This is starting to feel like my new home.."
He laughed. "Is that so? Then, I should decorate it."
I sighed. "How long are you planning to keep me here?"
"Ah, I don't know. I didn't plan that far ahead." He sat down on the chair across from me.
"Y'know, Apollo texted you." He pulled out my phone.
A-Apollo...?
"What?! What'd he say?!" I leaned forward.
"Hah. My worst nightmare. He's terribly worried about you, since you didn't show up and you didn't hang out with him last night." He turned off my phone, sighing. "I have to find something to eliminate this."
"You're not so smart as you look, huh?" I teased, giggling.
"Oh, my! That was cruel!" He smiled.
I sighed. "Y'know...my Dad works at the precinct. And he's very overprotective."
"Oh? Is that so? I can surely stop that." He smirked.
Okay...maybe threatening him wasn't a good idea.
"You don't even know if the dog was just playing around or if I really wanted to escape." I huffed.
"I know Vongole. He's a trained dog." Kristoph growled.
"Kristoph...can you please just...at least let me go to my favorite café?" I looked down.
He stood up. "Adina." He caressed my chin, making me look up at him. "No." He smirked.
"Ugh, I hate you!" I tried kicking my legs. That's when I realized.
"You....you bastard! You tied up my legs too?!" I growled.
He laughed. Did he think this was some type of game?!
"I know you want to escape. I get it. You want to see Apollo. He's your boyfriend. Maybe I can make sure that he's not." He grabbed a syringe.
Don't use that again.
"Hah...haha...you wanna see him don't you? Go to bed, then. He'll be in your dreams." He glared at me.
"Dreams?!" I growled. "I don't have those anymore! You're not improving things for me, you're making...you're making everything worse!" I struggled.
My phone buzzed. It was ringing.
"Gonna get that?" I smirked. "Won't they be suspicious?"
He walked upstairs. The phone stopped buzzing right when he came back.
A silver glint shined from his hand. It was a knife.
He grabbed the knife, pressed the call back button, and put the knife to my throat.
"You're not gonna tell them about this. You're gonna say everything's fine. If you say a word about this, you'll be dead. You hear me? And I'll kill everyone around you." He looked at me.
I was scared out of my mind. I could only nod shakily.
"Good." He smirked.
I saw the caller ID. It was Apollo.
