After thirty minutes or so, Morgan heard her door unlocking and opening. "Morgan? You awake, dear?" she heard Samir's mother speak out.

"I'm back here!" she replied weakly.

After a second, her bedroom door was pushed open, revealing not only Ms. Delilah but Malakai and Erin. "Oh! Um, hey y'all," she smiled, waving from her position in bed.

"Aww hey, my darling. Mir told me you needed some help getting around and whatnot but you know I couldn't do it alone, so I brought him to help you move. Erin is just here for moral support," Ms. Delilah chuckled.

"Hey big sis," Kai waved. She grinned widely upon hearing it, Malakai had never called her anything beside Morgan, and it warmed her heart.

"Hi Morgan! You okay? How come you in bed?" Erin asked, climbing up in the bed next to her.

"Chile, take them shoes off," Delilah fussed, walking over pulling the small shoes off of her feet.

"We brought you food, sis. Mir said you like Mexican, so we brought tacos. That's cool?" Malakai asked, sitting at the foot of her bed, holding up a bag.

"That's perfect, thanks pooh," she smiled. "Um, if it's okay, can we eat in the living room? I been wanting to get of bed, if y'all don't mind," she mentioned, trying to prop herself up on her arm.

"Of course, darling. Me and Kai will help you up. Erin can you take the food in the front please? She asked as Malakai stood up next to the bed wrapping one of his arms around her torso to keep her steady while she lifted one leg after the other from her bed.

Once her feet touched the ground she winced at the sharp pain shooting up her left leg. Ms. Delilah added another arm for support and they slowly made their way to the living room slowly lowering her on to the couch.

"Thank you guys so much for doing this, I know you must've been busy," she said, after she got somewhat comfortable in the longer end of the sectional. She noticed that they were dressed up like they were already going somewhere and could stop by to help out.

"Girl don't worry about it, I was taking Erin to some lil' girls birthday party," Ms. Delilah spoke.

"That I don't wanna be at," Malakai grumbled, making Morgan laugh. "Mama, can I just stay here? Morgan probably gon' need my help again," he asked his mother who promptly rolled her eyes.

"How do you plan on getting back home little boy? You have school tomorrow," she asked him lifting Erin off of the couch when she started reaching for peoples food. "We're gonna eat over there, Erin," she told her.

"Im sure Mir would take him, Ms. Delilah," Morgan came to his rescue, seeing he'd really rather not be a five year old's birthday party.

"Yeah! See, Mir gon' bring me home," Kai cosigned.

"Okay, Malakai. Behave yourself and you better do everything Morgan asks you to do. Put him to work, girl," Ms. Delilah said, telling Erin to tell her brother and Morgan bye.

"Bye, Kai Kai," she said sweetly, climbing on to the couch and kissing his face.

"See you later, babygirl. Have fun, save me some cake," he told her, giving her a kiss on her forehead, warming Morgan's heart.

"Okay! Bye bye, Morgan. I hope you feel better soon," Erin told Morgan, hugging her arms around her neck. "Can I give her a kiss too, mama?" she asked, Ms. Delilah who chuckled.

"Go head, Angel. We gotta go," Erin grinned and gave Morgan a quick kiss on the cheek before hopping off the couch, running to hold her mother's hand.
