jupiter bleeds,
like the burning golden sun swallowed by the sea,
scattering iridescent blood in the marmalade sky
the ichor dancing on the clouds,
falling with a heavy sigh

it touches my rough skin with a smooth glide and it burns
oh it burns, with the longing for something nameless, something out beyond me
I try to reach for it but dances off my fingertips and onto the wind in a cacophony

it glistens in the light of the dying sun,
like a kaleidoscope, changing with every glance
i stare at it with bated breath
losing myself in a melancholic trance

jupiter bleeds, but it doesn't scar him
rather it speaks ballads of it's longing for pain
a beauty so horrifying that it puts venus to shame
