I have a day off University today. No lectures. No studying. No assignments. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Doing your assignments early pays off. I have the whole day to myself and have no idea what to do.

I leave the embrace of the warm duvet covers and the cold air implants itself on me as I hurriedly make my way to my closet and pick out some warm clothes.

Once I am dressed in an oversize jumper and shorts I sleepily make my way to the kitchen to get some breakfast. I'm greeted with the sight of Amelia and Niall enveloped in each others arms with some very passionate PDA. If had known that this is what I would wake up to, I would've stayed in bed.

I have been witnessing the affectionate couple for the past couple of days. Niall had finally asked Amelia to be his girlfriend and now they are inseparable.

I clear my throat to make my presence noticed and their heads immediately whip up showing a startled expression.

"Good morning lovebirds," I greet them sarcastically. Shaking my head to receive a fit of laughter from both of them. I don't even know why they are laughing. There is nothing even funny. I don't understand love. Not bothering to ask I make my way over to the kitchen.

While cooking eggs on the stove I see a distinctive small brown object sprint across the room. I switch of the stove and walk around the counter to get a better look and to make sure my eyesight isn't playing with me. I see a brown mouse perched in the corner.

I let out an ear piercing scream and jump on to the kitchen counter. I hate mice. I'm seriously scared of them. I appear to not be able to move or speak.

Niall and Amelia come rushing in with worry etched on their faces.

"What happened?" Niall asks in a raspy voice. I simply point to the mouse in the corner.

Amelia's face perks up. "Aww it's so cute can we keep it?" She asks in a amused expression.

"NO! Just get rid of it." I remark while hugging my legs still sitting on the kitchen counter. Amelia and Niall manage to get the mouse in to a container to place outside. If I had my say the mouse would be dead.

Just then Harry comes barging through the door. "What happened? I heard a scream."

He takes in his surroundings of me on the counter and the mouse in the container and starts bursting out laughing. He is literally on the floor laughing.

"You screamed because you saw a mouse? That's hilarious." He wouldn't stop laughing. Who is he to even be here at the moment? It's been around a week and a bit since we last spoke. He had walked in to the bookstore not acknowledged me at all then left. It was the same routine everyday and he would never tell me what he was looking for. He'd make some snark comment of how it was none of my business or along those lines. I don't even care. I'm pretty sure I don't.

I glare at him. Before finally snapping at everyone for laughing along with him. "Just get it out." Niall goes and places the mouse outside. Only once he comes back do I get off the counter. I storm off and deliberately walk in to Harry who is in the way and slam my bedroom door. I will not have people laugh at me for something I'm scared of.

My free day has started off as the worst day possible. I hear a faint knock on the door and Amelia, Niall and Harry walk in.

"Hey" Amelia sheepishly starts.

"Hi."

"Are you do anything today?"

"No it's my free day." I look over at Harry and see that he is suppressing laughter. Jerk.
