Twist #1 P1

"No! I will never!"

"You will have to if you want to save your sister!"

My name is Primrose Everdeen. My sister is Katniss Everdeen. I am from District 12. My sister started a commotion between the government and society and now we ended up hiding in District 13. I kind of blame my sister for what I'm about to do but I still love her and that's only one of the reasons why I still don't want to do it.

"You want me to lie to all the districts just so you can overthrow the government! There should be peace so our race can prosper and-"

"Shut your mouth! I don't want any more crap coming out of it! You do not know anything about war OR peace! You're just a silly little girl who doesn't know anything in life! You think you know peace then fine! Destroy this horrible government yourself!"

I lower down my head without thinking.

"Good. We start in the morning."

I turn towards the exit. Every inch of steps I take I count as how many seconds that I had to stop them...

But didn't...

A beautiful day...

"Did you do what I told you?"

"Yes."

I told my sister that I will be going into the clinic to help out with patients.

Although, there are none.

It's just an old storage room with a few beds.

And a secret passageway.

Once they drop the bombs, I have to run toward the passageway and keep going until I reach...

I honestly don't know.

"30" I hear a voice say.

The computer beeps as it counts until 0.

Why would I agree to do this? To scar my sister for life and to LIE to her?

They say that after all this, everything will change.

There will be peace.

But, it will be the last time I would ever be able to see my sister.

I finally make up my mind and regret it.

"1"

At first there was nothing.

"Looks like the Capitol is not perfect either." I say.

But...

My hearing is muted as the bombs come through the ceiling.

BLAST

BLAST

I run toward the passageway but trip over broken glass.

I cut my knee.

I don't hesitate and keep running though the more I do the more blood I lose and the more pain I feel.

I finally reach the passage way and keep running.

I run for about 3 hours.

I take a break and sit down.

The bombs are not stopping. I imagine my sister and how devastated she would be once she learns I was "dead".

I keep running.

Away from my problems.

Away from LIFE...

I run for about 2 more hours though it felt like 2 days.

I see light.

I know it's Heaven and God pities me.

I keep walking...

I touch the light and everything goes black...

AN: That's the end for this chapter. Hopefully you all enjoyed. This is a new short story I'm making and I'm hoping you all support it. The next chapter will still be about Prim but the chapter after that would be about...
