Longing for support;

You were the one who stood beside me always.

I was burning in the deadly fire of sorrow,

Longing for happiness;

You were the one who made my every moment rejoiced.

I was freezing in the icy cold of cheat,

Wishing for trust;

You were the one who provided me warmth.

I was blown in the vigorous tornado of helplessness,

Expecting some magic;

You were the one who provided me wings.

I am walking on the challenging road of life,

You are my guiding light;

You are my Dad and my best friend,
