friday finally rolled around and amanda said she was planning on taking you to this little boutique downtown called stella's. nothing was going to get in the way of your good mood. you were late to mr. duns class getting buzzed with amanda and eric in the janitors closet again. you werent drunk enough that it was noticeable, but drunk enough to get you in trouble. when class was over, once again mr. dun held you back after. he discussed with you how your grades were slipping like he had done so previously.
"im gonna have to assign you a tutor if you don't start getting your act together real soon," he says.
"oh, yes mr. dun. i'll be sure to get my act together real soon," you retorted. this was something you would not have said sober, and you knew that.
"one weeks detention. i will not tolerate disrespect in my classroom," he replies sternly.
"what? are you kidding me," you cried.
"make it two," he replies. you groan and look at him in disbelief. "i'll make it three if you keep it up," he finishes.
you let out a long sigh, "alright". you begin to pack up your things.
"oh and before you go, i should tell you that there are....alternative courses and assignments that you can complete for english," mr. dun twirls a pen in his hand.
"oh. like what," you ask.
"you'll just have to find out on monday after school when your detention starts," he smiles.
"uh, okay. goodbye mr. dun," you flee the room.
"hurry up, y/n. youre so motherfuckin slow," amanda calls to you from the front seat of her dads car.
"shut up, you bitch," you reply running over to the car. you toss your backpack in the backseat then climb into the passengers seat. the two of you discussed your day during the ten minute ride to stella's. amanda parallel parks in front of the boutique. after feeding the meter some quarters, we head inside to find a dress.
at this point you must have tried on at least fifteen dresses and amanda kept sending you back into the dressing room, telling you she was going to find the perfect dress for you.
"spin," she says spinning her finger in the air. "hmmm. no. go put on the next one. somethings not right about it," she demands squinting her pale blue eyes.
"cmon amanda, we've been here all afternoon," you sigh.
"dont question me. i told you id find you the perfect dress and thats exactly what we are going to do. now go put on the other dress," she waves you off. steping back into the changing room, you find that there was only on dress left. you quickly squeeze into it and look at yourself in the mirror. it was a short, skin tight red dress with an opening at the top to show a little cleavage. you pull back the curtain to show amanda the dress.
she leaps out of her seat, nearly knocking over the table in front of her, "OH MY GOD YES. THATS THE ONE. THATS IT." you get in line to pay for the dress looking down at the price tag, proceeding to pull out your wallet.
"no. no. this is on me," amanda says reaching into her black leather jacket for her wallet.
"what are you doing? i cant let you pay for it," you reply.
"shut up and let me pay for the damn dress. its my gift to you," she quickly swipes the dress from your hands before you have a chance to respond. you try to grab it back from her but she holds it out of reach.
"hello ladies. were you able to find everything okay," the woman at the register asks with a forced smile.
"yes ma'am," amanda places the dress on the counter.
"oh great," susan (as her name tag read), says cheerfully, yet again sounding forced.
after ringing up the dress and amanda ever so graciously paying the one hundred twenty dollars, susan waves us off. "well you ladies have a good day. bye bye."
"damn that lady really hates her job," amanda says slamming the car door shut and buckling her seat belt.
"dude she looked like she was gonna pop, her face was so fucking red," you point to your face, both of you laughing. amanda puts the key in the ignition and starts car.
"wanna go over to eric's? he just restocked if you know what i mean," she wiggles her eyebrows.
"oh, hell yeah. you really think id turn that down," you reply.
"i figured you'd say that," she smirks at you.
you arrive at eric's and of course amanda knew exactly where the spare key was. you made your way upstairs to his bedroom, loud music blaring that sounded like green day. amanda doesnt even knock, she just walks right in.
"sup guys," he greets you both, standing up from his desk. he looked to have been playing grand theft auto on his computer. "you guys come for the kush," he raises an eyebrow at you.
"no pea brain. we came to have a threesome," amanda says sarcastically.
"okay. geez. no need to be rude about it," he smiles riffling through his dresser.
"ew you keep it in your boxer drawer," you look at him in disgust.
"yeah cuz i know people won't look there," he sits down and lights the joint.
you're at eric's house until around eleven o clock when you decided to go home and ask amanda for a ride.
its after midnight when you finally crawl into bed and turn on the office on your laptop. after watching three episodes, you're ready to crash, turning off your computer for the night. you drift off to sleep excited for whatever hell you would get into tomorrow.
