Ron's POV
I could say that I went to Hermione, told her the truth, and broke up with her. But of course I didn't. I guess it came from the years of her being mean to me.

Lavender and I continued to see each other, in the halls in the Ministry. I'd walk past her, and she'd walk past me. I would give her a nod and wonder why she was there, given the fact that she didn't work there.

Then after work we'd meet up at a hotel and have some fun. I felt zero guilt going behind Hermione's back- well, no, I had some guilt, you know, since she's my best friend and all. But I'd never seen Hermione with less than long pants and a shirt on, so you could imagine my lack of sympathy.

A few weeks after the beginning of my escapade, Harry stopped by my office like he does when he's avoiding work.

"So whats the tea, fam?" He asked, sipping some tea like the brit he is.

    "Just missing Laveduuuuuuuuuuuuh Hermione."

Harry chuckled. "Man, that Hermione sure has a hold on you! I mean, you'd never so much as think about another woman because you're with her!!!" Harry patted my back, meaning his statement sincerely.

    "lol," I said.

After he left, I was a little apprehensive of my actions. Then I remembered the last thing hermione said to me was, "A rat has more style than you, Ron," and I shook off my doubts.

Lavender's POV
Being with Ron felt like the happiest times of my life. I hadn't realized how much I missed him until I was back in his arms.
Unfortunately, we couldn't tell anyone about us. Not Harry, or my cats, or even Parvati, who was still my best friend after all these years.
Speaking of which, the next time Parvati and I met up for lunch, she immediately knew something was different.
"Hey gurl hey! Omg are those new shoes?"
I laughed. "Aheehee, yes."
"Omg sis you have a boyfriend."
    "What, wait, who told you?"
Parvati snorted. "It's so obvious. I mean, would a single girl wear those shoes with that shirt?"
I scoff at myself. "I knew the blouse was a bad idea."
"Wait, so you do have a boyf?!? Omg spill the tea who is he?" Parvati squeals.
I'm conflicted. On the one hand, telling anyone about Ron and I could put us in danger, socially I mean. On the other hand, Parvati was my best friend.
"Omg it's Ron Weasley," I giggled.
Parvati looked shocked. "Isn't he dating Hermione?"
I looked at the ground. "Well, yes, but please don't tell anyone."
"Omg girl you are so bad. Okok I promise."     Then she got distracted by the hot bartender.

As I went home I felt a little sick. It's probably the two day old tacos I had, I mused to myself. But I couldn't help thinking maybe it was guilt.

A/N: golly gee it's been a while. We've been pretty busy with school and whatnot, but we do plan on getting back into our stories. Thanks for reading me mates. Also the format is a little weird in this chapter because we wrote part of it on the computer and don't feel like changing it
