It wasn't hard for Luke to find his way around The French Quarter. It was laid out like a square. Bourbon St. had its attractions, and so did some of the other streets near by. Luke couldn't believe all the action. He made a killing sparring change. He even found a nice watch on the ground due to Bandits advice.

Eventually he got real tired, and made his way to a bench along side the river. There he slept tell the break of dawn. When he awoke he found a brown lunch bag next to him loaded with food. He thought to himself "This really is The Big Easy."

Luke went walking around all morning, and found a place that would make a good squat on Esplanade Boulevard. He planned on opening the place up that night when it got dark. He made his way back to Jackson Square where he once again met up with The Gypsy Bandit and his friend Wolf.

"How are you to doing this beautifully hot, and sunny day." Luke asks Bandit, and Wolf feeling good the sun was shinning.

"I don't no about Bandit, but I'm not feeling so hot." "I got mugged last night, and took for my watch." "It was a nice piece I tell yah." "Being robbed like that makes me wanna get a gun." Wolf said to Luke while sitting next to him on a bench, and looking down at the ground. He was really bothered from being mugged, and still a little shook up. The guys who did it didn't rough him up to bad, he was more distraught that they had taken his watch.

"That's kind of strange, I found a real nice watch last night?" "Seeing how you lost yours you can have it, just don't go selling it for some cash, if your gonna do that I'll keep it, and get some cash for it myself." Luke said to Wolf then pulled out the watch he had found. Wolfs eyes lit up when he saw the watch, then things got real quite for a moment.

"It was the Owl feather, it's symbolic of death, and death came knocking last night at my door real hard." "You put a spell on me you little punk, and you had me thinking you didn't practice magic, well I aught to..." Wolf said to Luke all heated up, and angry. Before he could finish Luke piped up to defend himself.

"Hold on a second right there." "Who you calling a punk old timer." "If you didn't walk with a cane I'd be clobbering you right now." "As far as the watch goes your reading to deep into nothing but mere coincidence nothing more nothing less." "I don't practice magic, but if the owl feather is symbolic of Death then you should have died last night don't you think." "Maybe The Creator knows how much you loved your watch, and the loss you suffered so he used me to find you a new one!" "You never know?" "This is a bit of a mysterious place this city called New Orleans." Right as Luke said all this Wolf ripped the watch he was holding out of his hand. He then put it on, and it fit perfectly to his wrist.

"Well the watch fits, I'm taking it, but you better listen to me young man." "There is no such thing as coincidence, weather directly or indirectly you put a spell on me by giving me that owl feather!" Wolf said now putting the blame for his mugging all on Luke.

"He's absolutely right, there's no point in arguing about it, you casted a spell weather you know it or not." "Now tell the man your sorry, and won't do it again." Bandit said coming to Wolfs defense. He then quickly walked away to set up his table to read fortunes from. You could tell if Luke had anymore to say Bandit didn't want to hear it.

"I'm not putting up with this shit, or buying any of it either." "You two are way to superstitious for me, and way to hyper spiritual, heck a pigeon could shit on your head, and you'd take it as some weird omen or something." "I'm not about to say sorry for something I know I had nothing to do with, but I did give you my blessing Wolf, by giving you the watch I found." "The owl feather should of been seen as a blessing too, seeing how I gave it to you with nothing but good intentions." "If anybody deserves an apology it should be me. You two are trying to toss the blame on me for something I had nothing to do with." Luke said now standing between the bench, and where Bandit was setting up his table. He was getting very frustrated with the two of them, and the way they processed there thoughts. He wasn't about to fall for there crap, no not one bit of it. He recognized the two were full of both themselves, and shit.

"You just don't get it do yah you little punk." "You shouldn't have given me the owl feather not knowing what your doing when it comes to the deeper spiritual truths set forth in the universe." "Next time maybe you'll think twice about giving somebody a feather like that." Wolf said while walking over to Bandits table. He wasn't about to let it go, due to the fact he felt he new better than Luke.

"That's it, I can't take it anymore." "Listening to you two is enough to drive a man crazy." "If I had half a mind right now I'd show you what kind of man I am Wolf, and who it is your calling a punk, but your not even worth my time." "As for you Bandit, I think you aught to check your britches because I think your full of shit." Luke said all this to the two of them then stormed off before either of them could get a word in edge wise.
