Chapter 6: Back to home

It's Tuesday. With all excitements and Plans in mind Kongpob took the early morning flight. He wanted to reach home before 6, so he can decorate room and prepare some food for romantic dinner with Arthit. 

On the other hand Arthit got ready for hospital. May had called him yesterday and insist that she want to drop him at hospital, so she can help him with procedures or anything he might need. May came and they both left for hospital. Once they reach hospital, May inquire everything to doctor like Arthit's sister. She took doctors number and asked him to call her anytime if there is any emergency. Doctor said to her don't worry mam, we have every facility available here. In past few days she became so close to Arthit that she want to make sure everything will be ok.

Arthit while laughing: ok mom.. leave Doctor alone.. I will call you if I need anything..
May with a smile: ok ok.. I won't ask any more question.. You take rest.. I will come after office.. and also tomorrow same time just to visit you..
Arthit: There is no need..
May: I want to. You can't stop me. don't worry I won't bore you. I will stay only for 15 minutes. Moreover hospital is in route to my office so I don't have to drive long.
Arhit nodded. Then she left for office.

Kong reached home and with spare keys he opened door. Started decorating thing. He prepared Arthit's favourite meal and also bought pink milk. Now he was waiting for Arthit. It's 7 o'clock. But Arthit didn't came back. He thought may be Arthit is working late today or he might get stuck in traffic. Should I call him? No if I do that he will know I am here and surprise will get ruin. So he sat on sofa and started watching movie. 

While watching movie he slept. He didn't sleep well for past few days and after tiring journey he put lots of effort to prepare surprise. He woke up at 7 in morning by doorbell. He noticed Arthit didn't come back yesterday. He panicked by thinking what could have happen. He called his parents. They were happy to know Kong's back but had no idea about Arthit. His father gave Kong Arthit's secretary number. Kong called her to inquire. She said Arthit sir has taken a week off. When Kongpob asked reason. She said sir has been very sad from past couple of days may be that is why.

Kongpob felt may be Arthit left because he can't cope up. He did same in past. But his heart was not willing to accept this. Arthit can't run away like that, he can't punish me like this. We have been through a lot and just because I didn't talk for few week he can't give up on us. Kongpob called almost everyone including knot but no one has any idea about Arthit. Kongpob searched everywhere for Arthit but he can't find him.

Kongpob thinks this can't be end of our story. I have always found him. He begged to Lord please give me some sign of his location I will do everything to win him over. I just need to see him. I can not give up like this. I need him. He went back to home to search if he can find anything. But nothing except the fortune cookie note: "True love requires sacrifices". Kongpob got cold feet. What does this mean. Why have Arthit kept it in his favourite box. What sacrifices is he thinking of this time.

Kongpob just don't know what to do. He went to his parents house.
Kongpob's Mom: Son what happen?? You look ...
Kongpob started crying: He left me..
Kong's mom: Who? Arthit?
Kong nodded..
Kong's mom: Stop crying. Tell me did he break up with you?
Kong: No
Kong's mom: did you have fight?
Kong: No
Kong's mom: Then how can you say he left you.
Kong told what happen in past few days and he can't find Arthit anywhere.
Kong's father was hearing everything from far. He came to kong.
Kong's father: As far as I know Arthit is responsible man. He is very professional. I do know he won't go just like that without a note. Did you contact his secretary or his partner knot?
Kong: Yes I called everyone. They don't know where Arthit is. His secretary told me that he took a week off.
Kong's father: Problem solved. It means he will be back in few days. What's rush? Speak to him ones he is back. You were also coming back on Friday so he might have made some plans.
Kong: I don't know but my heart says if I don't find him now, I will loose him forever. I can't explain but it's always like this. Somehow I can always feel about things related to Arthit in advance.
Kong's mother: That is true love son. Like I always know when my little kong needs me most.
Kong after hearing that line: Oh I don't know whether it means something or not but I found this message at our home "True love requires sacrifices".
Kong's father: Now even I am worried. May be you should go to Knot's home. He is Arthit's best friend and partner. He might not know Arthit's location, but he is the person who is close to Arthit. May be you can get some clue from him.
Kong: Good idea. I should leave now.
Kong's father: It's too late. Stay here for night. Go in morning.
Kong nodded.
