The Academy

       

    The school I attend is known as Wolfsbane Academy. A place not only to learn but of which find our selves like any other school Wolfsbane has its bullies the young third year alphas run this school. But the most well-respected alpha of that year was Sabine Fang. She was the top dog of the grade and she wasn't afraid to take on those who challenged her.

  I'm Victoria Night Crest and for me I am a year one unfortunately. I was in a class of nine students. "Well now welcome sisters and brothers you may call Mrs. Night Howl and A key rule to remember in this class is we work as a pack." "We will also be covering the importance of our secrets safety tomorrow I will be handing out pamphlets regards to the prevention of our exposure." "Alright hope orientation was a good one head off to your next." As I walked out the door I accidently bumped into Sabine. "Watch where you're going... Ha your hair looks so disgusting tell me who styles it your grandma?" I growled at her. A young eighteen year such like myself stood next to me. "Don't worry about her she's all bark and well I guess and bite ha." "Hi I'm Asmara." "Victoria." "So, where to next?" She asked. "Uuh this one u gets to fight and be sorted into your rank." I said amused.

                   "What if I am an alpha?" "Alpha is the highest honor but Betas not all that bad either as for Omega kind of important." "Wed better hurry or well be late." We scurried down the hall to room 104. "Why hello fellow packmates please take a seat I'm Mr. Brown this class is about finding your place amongst the pack." "Sadly, that wont be today." Everybody awed. "Not to worry that'll be sometime this week." "This orientation is boring." I thought. "I can hear your thoughts loud and clear Ms. Night Crest." Great werewolves can hear each others thoughts. Any more surprises? Mr. Brown went on about the importance of each rank not that Omega status seemed all that interesting other than the hunting.

              One more class of absolutely boring introductions. Yawn. Snore. "It was then it was time to go home. My mother Mary Night Crest was there. "So how was the first day?" "About as boring as chasing your tail." "I haven't got to transform yet." "My dear its important to know how to transform safely if were exposed then our secrets out there and who knows what they'd do." She turned down Eden avenue there was a dirt road with a large fenced in yard not far from the woods. My father Andy is an Alpha and Mary a Beta. They both run the Shadow wolf pack.  His pack is made up of fifteen members.  Not taking the time to list all members.

                 It must be great to be an alpha leader of the pack everybody has to listen and obey and respect them. But as an alpha you have to carry a huge burden a huge responsibility. As a Beta you're basically second in command caring out the alphas orders not too much difficulty and omega they protect the alpha and hunt for the pack. "What if I'm an Omega?" "I mean sure Id love to hunt." "Sweet heart a beta and an alpha do not make an omega its rare for alphas to choose Betas but anyway you're either an alpha like your father or a Beta like me Mr. Brown will observe your behavior in a fight and that will determine who u really are amongst the pack."

             "Whenever Mr. Brown decides to let us start."Patience Victoria. We read and memorized our packets. I was so eager to take wolf form for the very first time. Sabine was picking on innocent Omegas. "Knock it off Sabine!" "Do you really think you have the authority to tell an alpha what to do grandmas girl." I barred my canines at her and flashed my eyes (eyes turn to wolves) She did the same. Neither of us are submissive to one another. I'm not an omega that's for sure omegas cower amongst pack. "That'd be enough from you two." Head mistress Wolfsbane spoke. We got down on our knees with our right arm out and rested on our heads (as bow of respect) Mistress Wolfsbane runs the Academy hence the name Wolfsbane Academy she is an alpha of her own pack. "You both shall learn to control your primal nature save that for Wednesdays class in Mr. Browns." "Yes maam." We spoke at the same time.

               "Good, now return to your classes." We turned into separate directions and went off to class no hesitation. "Ah Ms. Night Crest lovely for you to finally join us." I looked at the clock I had arrived five minutes late. "I'm sorry Mrs. Night Howl it wont happen again." (Night howl is a Beta) "Now then where were we ah yes we were discussing about how important it is to not expose ourselves." "Many humans are what they call themselves scientists now scientists they're very curious individuals, they study about living breathing organisms and love to make new huge discoveries". "Now being said if they were to discover us this would be a threat to all of our kind around the world." (Many different academies)

              "It is our job to blend in as a major part of the community we have doctors of our own researchers that work alongside humans." "If we were to get hurt or injured its best not to have.." (Her voice drowns out) "Psst Victoria." Asmara whispered." What?" "Can't wait for Wednesday where we get to be our true selves." "So, did you figure out what rank you might be?" "Due to both of my parents I might very well be an alpha or Beta." "Wait your dad's mates with a Beta?" "Ahem Ms. Asmara Moon seems like you both are on a very interesting topic too important for my own teachings please do share with us."

               Mrs. Night Howl was getting very agitated. " I'm sorry Mrs. Night howl it wont happen again.." "Very well then PAY ATTENTION!" the entire hour consisted of her rambling on about secrets and safety practically the name of the class. "So, what were you both talking about?" "Who are you?" Asmara asked. "Oh right Beatrix Night." She greeted happily. "It says on the list all three of us are class buddies so I figured I'd make myself known." "Right!" Asmara said. (todays Monday) The next day flew by until Wednesday arrived this was it todays the day, I get to show the Academy what Im truly made of.
