Prologue

     The night was cold, the wind whistling through the trees, leaves falling off of their previous home in song, dancing with each other as they gracefully floated down to the ground. Birds were not singing for they slept, but crickets chirped their happy nighttime songs to each other, creating a symphony of chirps to fill the still night air. Amiss all the peace and quiet, there was a child with blonde hair that fell down to her thighs due to never being cut and growing fast. Her face freckled with pinks and reds from the chilly autumn air nipping at her, and her feet kept bare and cold. The child hugged her coat tightly closed, wishing it were to keep all the wind and cold out as she walked down the empty path towards the city. The lights of the distant city illuminated the darkness, turning it day only for the imagination, a welcoming feeling ommiting from the soft glow around it as it grew closer. Too bad things weren't as "Welcoming" as they may seem.

A/N:: Hello Hello Hello! This is my first watt pad story and I am super excited to share it with you all! I realize that the prologue is shorter, because I didn't want to get too deep into the main story. To give you a little background on the main idea of the story though, this is based around the past and childhood of my Original Character, of whom you will know her name as the story progresses, but this is her backstory since I didn't want to have to summarize it.
