Yuri's point of view

He said "I like horror novels to". But I could tell he was just saying that trying to get closer to me. After that Monika said "Okay everyone it's time to write poems! "We all agreed and I started to write a poem.
By the time I finished my poem everyone else had theirs done and ready to share. Monika said "Okay everyone we are going to share our poems by going to the front of the room and saying them out loud. Who wants to go first?" Sayori hand shot up and she yelled "ME ME PICK MEEE"! "Go ahead Sayori"she said as she smiled. Sayori then ran to the front of the room and began reading:

                       Dear Sunshine

The way you glow through my blinds in the morning.
It makes it feel like you missed me.
Kissing my forehead to help me get out of bed.
Making me rub the sleepy from my eyes.

Are you asking me to come out play?
Are you trusting me to wish away a rainy day?
I look above. The sky is blue.
It's a secret, but I trust you too.

If it wasn't for you, I could sleep forever.
But I'm not mad.

I want breakfast.

When she was finished we clapped and she bowed playfully then went back to her seat. Natsuki then offered to go next and Monika said "go ahead Natsuki".She trudged up to the front of the room and began reading:

                       Eagles Can Fly

Monkeys can climb.
Crickets can leap.
Horses can race.
Owls can seek.
Cheetahs can run.
Eagles can fly.
People can try.
But that's about it.

MC smiled and said " aww how cute". Natsuki then crossed her arms and grunted "It's not supposed to be cute". "But it matches your style Natsuki" I said trying to be nice. "NOBODY ASKED YOU YURI!" she yelled.I then just sighed and then said "I was just trying to be nice."S-sorry. J-just don't call me cute. Okay? Natsuki said slightly guilty. "Okay" I said apologizing."Okay it's my turn." Monika cheered. Monika then walked to the front of the room and began reading:

                       Hole in Wall

It couldn't have been me.
See, the direction the spackle protrudes.
A noisy neighbor? An angry boyfriend?I'll never know. I wasn't home.
I peer inside for a clue.
No! I can't see. I reel, blind, like a film left out in the sun.
But it's too late. My retinas.
Already scorched with a permanent copy of the meaningless image.
It's just a little hole. Not too bright.
It was too deep.
Stretching  forever into everything.
A hole of infinite choices.
I realize now, I wasn't looking in.
I was looking out.
And he,on the other side, was looking in.

When she was done we clapped politely I personally liked it because it had a touch of horror and mystery to it. She then said "Yuri why don't you go next" . I agreed and walked to the front of the room and began reading:

                       The Raccoon
It happened in the dead of night while I was slicing bread for a guilty snack.
My attention was caught by the scuttering of a raccoon outside my window.
That was, I believe, the first time I noticed my strand tendencies as an unusual human.
I gave the raccoon a piece of bread,my subconscious was well aware of the consequences.
Well aware that a raccoon that is fed will always come back for more.
The enticing beauty of my cutting knife was the symptom.
The bread, my hungry curiosity.
The raccoon, an urge.

The moon increments its phase reflects that much more light off my cutting knife.
The very same light that glistens in the eyes of my raccoon friend.
I slice the bread, fresh and soft.
The raccoon becomes excited.
Or perhaps I'm merely projecting my emotions on to the newly-satisfied animal.

The raccoon has taken to following me.
You could say we've gotten quite used to each other.
The raccoon becomes hungry more and more frequently, so my bread is always handy.
Every time I brandish my cutting knife the raccoon shows me it's excitement.
A rush of blood. Classic Pavlonain conditioning.I slice the bread.
And I feed myself again.

When I finished I started walking back to my seat but I tripped and fell to the floor. MC came over as quickly as he could and said " Yuri are you okay?" then he helped me to stand up and I said "Yeah I'm okay". Then I walked the rest of the way to my seat and sat down. "Okay MC it's your turn" Monika said enthusiastically. MC said "Okay" then he walked to the front of the room and read his poem.

When he was finished I could see he had wrote it in a deep and brooding sense I liked it. Monika said "We all did a great job in my opinion,I liked doing this poem reading it's fun do you guys think so?"We all agreed that this was really fun. "Your all dismissed see you tomorrow!" Then we all headed home. I walked home alone as usual. When I got home I ate some dinner, had a shower, changed clothes, and lied down. As everything faded to black I thought about my dark tragic past.
