Staring blankly into the horizon
Anger and depression running through
Wondering what I did wrong

Dumbfounded, "Why?" is all i managed
Just then, a girl walked in and held your hand
With that I knew, and I can barely stand
"I love her." Full of sincerity
Choking back a sob, I smiled bitterly
But these stupid tears fell from my eyes
Faithfully believing these are all lies
As you walked away
I heard you softly say,
"I'm sorry, please forget about me."
Is that it? Just an apology?
Days passed, nights cried
Painting a smile on my face, being numb
