In Asgard June 17, 2018
"Loki, enough is enough! You start wars and create problems in my kingdom. You need to grow up!" My father, the All Father's voice boomed in the great hall.
Drowning out his booming voice. I could feel the gold shackles around my wrist getting tighter. I should be used to them.
Kneeling before him and getting yelled at was my ritual. None of this would be happening if Thor didn't push me to go with him to another realm.
"Loki Laufeyson are you even listening to me!? I swear on the Gods you are testing me." His voice booming. "If you weren't my son I would have you locked up for all eternity." The old man kept yelling.
I rolled my dark eyes at the fat man. I didn't even do anything that bad. Thor and I crossed into another realm and maybe started a war. Wait, why isn't Thor here? He should be getting yelled at too? Typical, Thor doesn't get yelled at but I do. He was always the favored one.
"Fath-," I tried explaining. I don't even know what I would say to him, probably dig my grave even deeper.
"Enough! Loki, I've had it with you! You're going to Midgard." He declared.
He hit his golden staff on the floor, causing the golden palace to shake. He had made his declaration. I was leaving.
"I'll have more fun there without you breathing down my neck," I glared at him. I started panicking but I tried to keep my cool demeanor.
"Learn something, hopefully, you will come back a changed man... hopefully." He walked down the steps from his golden throne and signaled to the guard to help me up. "And to make sure you come back a changed man, you will be stripped of your powers."
There was no getting out of this. I was going to that dreadful world. A group of guards walked me through the marble doors of the palace. I didn't get to say goodbye to mother. She's going to be furious with the All-Father for this. We made our way out the palace, I saw Thor waiting for me standing by a tree, shock in his eyes.
"Loki!" He shouted.
The armed guards halted for the prince. Of course, they halt for him but don't listen to me.
"Where are you going? What happened?" He bombarded me with questions.
"I could ask you the same brother," I notice his battle armor and Mjolnir.
"I was in battle. Where are you going?"
"Take a wild guess," I said rolling my dark black eyes.
"Oh, my Gods you're going to Midgard aren't you?" Thor started laughing. "Oh brother, you won't last a day, I barely made it a day. "
"Thank you for your encouraging words brother," I replied, voice dripping in sarcasm.
"Oh, you're welcome. I'll be sure to watch you with Heimdall." Thor said with a smirk on his face.
"We must get going your highnesses," one of the guards spoke.
"You idiot, you dare tell me what to do? Bow before me!" I yelled in the frightened boys
face. The terror in his hazel eyes is evident.
"Leave him alone, he's just trying to do his job." Thor tried to reason with me, rolling his eyes.
I got out of the poor guard boys' face. The townspeople started to gather to see what all
the commotion was about.
