"6:00am..."
The first thing I lay my eyes upon as I toss and turn around on my comfortable bed. School couldn't have came any faster, I was enjoying my holiday, lonely solitude thank you very much. Going to school is like a teenage real life simulated virtual reality battle royale, and surprisingly i made it all the way to the 12 grade, basically I'm 19 this year, yay.
After rolling out from bed, it was harder than you think, i took a quick shower and put on some red converse, tied up my hair, put on jeans, a white t and waddled my way to the smell of burning breakfast. Yum.
I make my way downstairs as I see my mom frantically preparing breakfast for me as i saw my dad sip on his morning coffee. Ugh coffee, why do they drink these liquid versions of drugs.
"Morning sweety, excited for school today?" My mom says in the most fake motherly voice you could think of with her ever so cheerful smile.
"I'm so excited I've been living under my bed sheets everyday with the accompany of my textbooks praying for this day to never come." I giggled as my mom gave a slight sigh.
Oh, how rude of me to not introduce myself to my inner head, pfft im stupid no one reads my inner thought ;) Well, I'm India, India Steele. Grade 12 this year and current update i have no friends in my life, well except for my best friends since the first grade, Melanie Fields and my current boyfriend, Blandon Williams. Ew that word just sounds so weird "boyfriend"
Basically I'm borderline smart cause I have to study hard to get average grades. I hate so many people in my grade, most of them are annoying and have nothing better to do in their life better than to pick on each other. I messed up this girl Casandra one time cause she wouldn't stop talking about her opinion on my outfit, I don't understand why but from then on she wouldn't stop commenting shit about me.
"Well we have to get on the go now, me and your father won't be back till 6, we have some meetings to attend to and no accompany over." She says as she takes her blazer half way out the door.
"Yep got it"
"Bye sweetheart" my dad said as he kissed my forehead.
Reality is i prefer my dad over my mom any day, she is just to much of a stereotypical mom for my liking. My dad on the other hand, always been there for me and didn't parent talk me in any way. That's rarer than you think to have for a parent, only think was when i told him about Blandon, he didn't like him surprisingly. My mom on the other hand really liked him. i couldn't understand but he grew onto him.
The walk to school was even shorter than the days of the holidays. In my inner thoughts i'm way different from how i actually am, i'm in love with math, have amazing grades, president of my art club and i dress as if i go to church everyday. Alright the last one way exaggerated but you get what i mean.
"INDIAA-" I hear in a distance but getting closer. I receive a tight hug from behind as i turned around to see Melanie and Blandon.
"Hey guys, " I exhaled.
"Oh my god, it seems like forever you've been stuck in that hole of yours you call your room. We are totally staying back and going out" Melanie said excitedly.
Melanie is the total opposite of me, she's popular, bad ass, gets into parties everyday and dresses like she just came form the club.
"Come on Melanie, its the first day of school and every time you say going out you bring us to a club" Blandon says as he shrugs my shoulder.
"Jeez, let it easy on me." Melanie says as i let out a giggle.
"RING-"
"Ah damn it, it's class already," Melanie let out a sigh as she kisses my cheek goodbye.
"You ready to walk to class?" Blandon asks as i nodded

" Anyone still remember the gradient of a straight line?--Yes miss Crawford?"
"y=mx+c" i answered swiftly.
Why is everyone so fast to hate on math. Like we don't even need to write any essays or know the history of how math originated. Win win for me if you ask.
"What a nerd, can't you fail a grade already," i heard someone say behind me. Oh for the love of god Cassandra stick your nose into your own cliche world.
"Well if you payed attention in class instead of making yourself a walking cliche you would actually have grades in your report card." i muttered loud enough that she could hear me.
"Whatever you twat.." She muttered.
"Anytime twat head two,"
Great recess the time of day i actually get some peace and quiet, you know what never mind, not really. Melanie was busy checking her phone while i was very comfortably talking with Blandon.
"What if he never likes me?" Blandon asks worriedly.
"He will, i promise. He is probably acting hard to please." I assured him.
"Yeah i'm sure India's dad will come to senses what a huge ass you are" joked Melanie as she put her phone down and joined us for recess.

Finally after school, i can go back in my own little world at home and do my reading...i'll be the only one at home anyways. Sweet.
Suddenly i got an unknown phone call on my way back home. Hm that's strange i told myself as i hesitatingly picked up the phone call.
"Hello?"
"Yes that's me"
"Yes..."
Oh my god, i'm going to cry.
