“Remember how they said to us that we should know who we are?” a boy with zero confidence but great experience heard his own voice.
Two eyes shielding the tears gazed at him.
This marked the first day an invisible mask was removed; Fetes never thought someone could enter and find him after the enigmous maze he made in his mind.
“But you know what I think? I think nothing in the world can take place of the obscurity we carry. We can die without the feeling of unknownness in ourselves. I feel their words are not the weapons against our flaws but our faith on what they call nothing but is absolutely our everything.”
Fetes has always been like the dark energy of cosmos supporting everything with nothing known to common eye. Maybe, he always will be like that but no one has seen the future right?
As soon as Ray’s invisible courage became stronger than their visible words, they both left to meet Zegh. It was already 7:30 pm on an amazing starry night. They raced their breaths against increasing rotations of cycle pedals on hillside road.
“Still scared of woods aren’t you”? said Fetes. A sense of humour never wounds anyone and Fetes knew that quite well through his experience.
“How can you expect a fear to grow old and die eh”? A soft voice mimicking CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow said.
“I don’t know. Maybe by coming eye to eye to it.”
“Then I should catch a butterfly soon for you caterpillar”
A silence, the one which compels you to run away just because you have haunted it way too many times for no reason was echoing in those roads; made Fetes oblige to breathe it.
Fetes increased his speed. They both raced to the top where Zegh was hiding from the monsters that constitute little bit of everything.

You can never see the light of future if you are blinded by the shadows from past. And Zegh, who was the uniqueness of enchanting unknown was haunted by things that can make you close your eyes and stop your heart. Her demons were different because she herself was a magical outcast. Her demons wore a different mask everyday.
And for all this time, the only thing that remained hers was the presence of Ray. A selfless, young boy who tried to fit in the world of Zegh.
Fetes and Ray left Zegh after the dinner. They sat on the hilltop, surviving at the gaze of drawing moon. Ray wanted to walk zegh back home but words, they need pillars to stand on. But tonight, Ray needed someone to lean on more than zegh.

Zegh sat in her room balcony. Her room wasn't curtained edge to edge. She even let the darkness peak in and live. A green colored wall was covered with pictures of almost everyone she's felt happiness with. She stood there, in her balcony with wind in her hairs and wondered about things that came and went like flashing lights on highways.
We all know our places in this world. We can determine our strength even if it's forsaken. But we are never blank. If we can't help ourselves, I suppose we find the comforts of heavens in someone else's journey. And that's the mistake we make. We let go of who we are because we cannot understand who we are. We ruin our lives. And that's what Ray did. But we can never gift our demons to someone else. Then why we choose a path that is so wrong and greedy? Is it the call of hope, EVERY TIME?
