It 6:00 on a beautiful, hot, summer evening. The sun is not even close to being ready to go down. I look up as the sun glares through the tree leaves and branches as I swing on the tire swing. My lips turn up into a smile as I feel the breeze brush past my face. My twin sister Jemma is the one pushing me on the swing as our friend Oliver lays down in the grass under the sun's heat.
The sliding glass door to the house opens and my mom Celeste announces, "Dinner is ready. Please come inside and dish up."
Jemma runs inside leaving me on the swing. Oliver leaps up from the ground and rushes to the swing to stop it for me. I step down and we walk inside laughing together.
As we are about to finish up my mom's special spaghetti, Oliver's mom Valerie enters the room. "Come on Oliver, we must finish packing. We leave tomorrow!" Oliver stands up and hugs us goodbye and walks out of the house.
