My friend and I are just doing this for fun so there is some grammar issues ignore it but have fun reading this! Think of this as a comedy/thriller book.
Max pov:
I opened my eyes and had no idea where I was at. It was a dark place with water surrounding the whole area, I then hear a shrill cry echo.
My hair stood up, a shiver ran down my spine, and a lump came to my throat. I saw a figure in distance their back facing towards me as its being lit by a street light. I slowly proceeded with caution coming closer to them. My hand hesitate to touch their shoulder. As i get closer to their shoulder, a long claw wraps around my arm. I began to turn around and i saw a disorted figure. Its face opened up letting out a horrific scream. It came closer, its spit hitting all over my face.
I jolt up in such a panic and sweat ran down my body. Ive had the same dream for a couple of nights now and its scaring me. My room was super humid, the only fan in there was blowing hot air.
My parents walk into the room telling me that we are moving to Hawkins in about three weeks.
3 Weeks Later...
My family and I were getting off the airplane in Indianapolis. The car ride to Hawkins was about a 30 minute drive.
We soon arrive at our small home. We see the moving truck in the driveway and we began to move stuff into the house.
The house is light green and has grass turning brown. I walk inside and see that it has three bedrooms. I decided to explore a bit of our small home checking out the kitchen and the living room.
I go back outside to get the rest of my stuff, picking up the first box and started to head towards my room. As I was about to walk up the steps, I saw a run down volkswagon with a bumper sticker that says "get well soon," pass by.
Dustin's Pov
I was finally coming home to Hawkins from my summer camp. It was a long drive to get home.
We finally arrive in Hawkins. I pass by a house with new people moving in. I only saw a girl carrying a box inside the house. I was intrigued by her flaming red hair. I decided when I get back home that I would call the group with my walkie talkie and talk about the flaming red haired girl.
As my grandma drove the car into the driveway and putting it in park I jumped out and opened the door. I ran into my room and immediatley grabbed my walkie talkie. I yelled into it and after waiting for a while, I got no response. Not going to lie, it got me pretty bummed out.
I look over at my turtle and said, "At least someone's happy to see me."
