~*Dominic*~

"Dominic." Joy snaps her fingers between my eyes. She tilts her head and gives me a cute grin. I grin back.

"Y-yeah?" i stutter, i wish i could stay more focused but Joy's story BORES me to death. She frowns, with a crease in her brow.

"So, as i was saying! When i finished telling her the difference between saying tow-MAH-tow and TA-MA-TOE, she turned around and walked away!" She huffed. I gave a chuckle to make sure she thought i knew what the hell she was talking about.

I rested my head on her shoulder. I looked up to her blue eyes. They were dull but i never payed much attention to unique looking people. I liked how Joy wore her hair ALWAYS in a pony-tail and refused to wear jeans. And her pale skin. She didn't have the most interesting features but i though she was pretty either way.  I liked how she also didn't pay attention to my dull features. My dark eyes always made it look as if i was wearing false lashes. And my weird hair- all red and blonde mix.

I started drifting off and before i could say 'POH-TAY-TOW' i was asleep.

I shove my hands into my pockets and trot around the house. I knock on all the doors and tell everyone to wake up. When i get to Allies door i decide not to knock. She just found out her parents died in a skiing accident. Meaning she won't ever be with her real parents. I spin on my heels and make my way back to the hall. I walk to the front, all the kids raise their heads and frown. I roll my eyes. So UN-grateful.

My voice booms. "SO! Tomorrow- Three families are coming to adopt some kids- Maybe some people around 8-12. If you fit this description please raise your hand." all the smaller kids do.

I write down their names on the roster. "All righty, Thanks guys, the rest can go back to bed." they all groan. I frown too. Whatever, if they can't be positive then i won't bother either.

"Now." I mumble. And they all scatter.

"The kids who raised their hands- please fill in this form and tick the box's and DON'T LIE. Alright?" I stomp out of the room. The care giver waves at me.

"How was it?" She insists.

"Shitty, They should be glad they aren't living on the streets." She chuckles and hands me my jacket.

"See you next week Elijah." She is still laughing.

"Yeah right." i whisper, and push the door open. My lungs fill with fresh air.

"AhHhHhHhHh!" I smile. I only volunteer here because it will help my grade. Or something. I take my phone out of my pocket and it slips right out of my grasp. it slams against the pavement.

"SHIT!" I groan. And pick it up. Cracked.

"F*CK YOU GOD!" I point the rude finger up at the sky, and all of the sudden it starts trickling, faster and faster, till it's pouring.. I laugh and run to the end of the car park...

I shove my hands into my pocket, my phone in my front pocket and launch myself off the ground. It's strange. Iv'e had this power my whole life and each time i 'fly' it fills me up. Like a balloon. All my energy is saved during the day just for this- this is my favorite thing to do. This makes me happy. This and Joy. Joy my sister. I chuckle to myself and drift through the trees. Avoiding the rain. No feeling will ever compare to this.

It's breathtaking.

 It's addicting.

It's mine.
