Lizzie POV

After everything that happened with the Gargoyle the other day my dad has been really on edge. He called a meeting today, he didn't say what it was going to be about, all he said was that a group of us were going to Mystic falls high school. After everyone filed into the main dining hall he started his speech "Given our recent influx of monsters, Sheriff Donovan and I have decided we need to take drastic action. Please give him your full attention." He announced before stepping to the side and letting the sheriff speak. "Like Dr. Saltzman was saying, local girls Dana Lilien and Sasha Stroteraux didn't come home last night." That's what this about, does he think we had something to do with this. He continues to talk but I am not really paying attention until I feel Josie bump my shoulder. "what" I whispered "Dad's saying your name." I looked up to see him staring at me intensely. I stood up quickly "I'm sorry dad." he told me earlier that he wanted me to lead the group because I haven't been getting along with the other students and so he thinks is the best time for bonding, plus have been really weird about leaving the school after the attack. I stood up and fixed my clothes " Ok so anyone who wants to volunteer with the case stand up so we can jot your names down." I scanned the room. "I'm in." "I'm in too." "I would like to help." Kaleb, Hope and MG stated while standing up. I put their names down including Cheryl and Betty 'Cause where one goes the others follow. I nodded " OK you guys go change out of your uniforms we are leaving in two hours." and with that the meeting was dismissed but before I could get far my dad spoke up "Lizzie , Josie wait I need you to do one thing before you leave." We stood there waiting for him to finish "Well what do you need us to do?" Josie questioned. He gestured us to follow him as he started to make his way to his office "There is a new student and I need you to give a tour of the school. She is a newly formed werewolf and she is in the same grade as you." He opened his office door and we were met with the back of a girls head. But when she turned around I swear my heart skip a beat. "Hi i'm Alex Jordan." She smiled and stood up handing her hand out to shake our hands. When our hands touched and our eyes finally met it seemed as though the whole world stopped around us. I think she felt it too but I don't know. I heard someone clear their throat and that broke our focus. "I'm s-sorry, My n-name is umm..." What is wrong with me I never stutter and I am never speechless. "Sorry about my sister. I'm Josie and this is Lizzie." Josie answered for me

"OK Alex they are gonna be giving you your tour and later you are gonna be taking a trip down to the local high school. Lizzie will fill you in on the details." My dad explained and she nodded "Cool I am ready when you are." Josie and I smiled and took her all around the school showing her all the different facilities and such. "Hey so how come you parents sent you here, wouldn't it have just been better to learn to be a werewolf from them." She chuckled a little and set down in one of the near seats and followed after her. "Well I was adopted and when I triggered my cursed they sent here so that I could learn. My mom said they knew about this school because they knew my parents personally and when they died they took me in. But when I triggered my curse they looked into this school and got in touch with you dad and then they brought me here. " "Well we have a lot of werewolves from different packs, we might be able to find someone from your bloodline." Josie stated and I nodded. Alex's eyes got really big "Wait really, are you serious." "Yeah do you know maybe your mom's maiden name." She thought for a second then shook her head with a pout. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. " Well don't worry, you ask you mom and we can take some blood and run it through the database and see what we find." She jumped and hugged me really tight. This is amazing. I looked at Josie over Alex's shoulder and seen that she was smirking and then mouthed 'you like her', I just rolled my eyes. When I pulled away from the hug and looked at my watch. It's time to meet everybody at the front so we can leave. "Jo, we gotta go are you coming to say bye to Hope." She didn't answer she just stood up and started walking with us following. "I'll take that as a yes." I whispered and Alex laughed
