Monday morning
Riley:
As I look at the clock in the middle of my school hallway only one thing can runs through my mind , where is Maya. I was starting to get worried . Maya always answered her phone, well , she always answered my calls . Just as i begin to head through the door Mr.Mathews stoped me . "Where are you going young lady , straight to class", he said as he pointed to the door. I was so close yet so far . After 2minutes I just decided to turn back thinking ,Maya would call me if something is wrong right.
At Maya's house
Maya lays on the floor, her body filled with cuts and she even has a black eye .
Beep Beep Beep
Maya hears the phone ringing and finally decides to answer it . But to her surprise instead of her bestfriend it was Josh . Maya's hands began to shake as she scarecly answers the phone.
Maya :
Hello Josh , im really sorry about last ni.........
Before she could finished Josh cut her off
Josh : Save it slut , dont try to act innocent now , just make sure that you are there when i come back at 3, got it bitch
Josh then hung up the phone . Maya was left on the floor in pain she was already late and could not aford for people to see her like this , so she didn't go to school but little did she know that was the worst thing she could have done.
