Chapter three

Laura's POV

After what happened during math everyone was quiet. The class ended quickly and then next class also went quickly. Then lunch. I got my food and sat at a random empty table. Then some boys came over and jocks started hitting on me.

Jock: hey is there a fire cause its smokin over here.

Laura: go away.

Jock: why should I?

Laura: Because I told you to.

Jock: I dont think I will.

Laura: I'm warning you.

Jock: oh I'm so scared. He said sarcastically

Laura: look I told you to go away and I'm giving you one last chance to leave or else. ( then I texted Rydel to come over quickly and then I started walking away but of course they all started following me until I hit a wall, and I would be lying if I said it didn't hurt. Then one of the jocksput my hands against the wall so I couldn't move. Then he started leaning in then my reflects kicked in. I kicked him in the nuts. He fell to the floor.

Laura: I told you to go away.( I then walk away)

Rydel: (runs over to me) what happened???? She asks worriedly

Laura: I was being harassed. What took you so long?

Rydel: sorry I had to get all my pictures tapped in my locker.

Laura: awe why didn't you tell me? I wanna see.

Rydel: sorry I forgot.

Laura: its fine. How bout we get some lunch I'm hungry.

Rydel: Ok

( then we got lunchand sat at a table)

Rydel: wanna go shopping after school?

Laura: sorry I can't .

Rydel:aww why not?

Laura: I got a detention.

Rydel: what did Ross do?

Laura: well this is what happened ( explains everything)

Rydel: so Ross has detention too?

Laura: yup

Rydel: I'm sorry. But do you need a ride home?

Laura: yeah but if you can't I understand.

Rydel: no I can how long is the detention?

Laura: 1 hour

Rydel: Ok I'll just wait at the library for that time. Then after we can go shopping!

Laura: thanks Delly. You rock!

Rydel: no prob ( then the bell rings) see you after detention.

Laura: okay.( walks to class)

I then sat through two boring classes then headed to detention.

Ross's POV

After the last two classes I headed to detention to see Laura sitting in her seat already and the teacher left a note that said he wasn't gonna be here I guess. I then sit in a seat far away from Laura. She doesn't know I'm here she has her earplugs in. So I decided to make things fun. I walked up behind her and jumpstarted her. She jumped and screamed. Then took her earplugs out and looked behind her saw me and growled at me. I started laughing my head off. And sat back in my seat. And started playing "jetpack joyride" on my phone. Then suddenly I felt something hit my head. I looked down and saw a piece of paper that said: you suck. And I wrote something on the back and threw it back at Laura. She looked at it gasped and she flipped me off with both hands. I started laughing. She wrote something on it and threw it back at my head. I looked at it and said: not funny Lynch. I wrote: totally funny marano. She again flipped me off. So I flipped her off. Then she turned so she couldn't talk to or look at me. I then decided to text Calum cause I was bored. We texted then I saw the time and got my stuff together then looked to see if laura was here. She was. she got her book and left to the library. What a nerd. She came out with Rydel. Damn it rydels my ride. I walk over to Rydel.

Ross: hey Rydel . I need to get home mom didn't know I had detention so yeah you know what happens next.

Rydel: ya I know I'll drop you off home.

Ross: Ok thanx. Let's go I'm ready to go.

Rydel: yeah come on Laura. (Walks away with laura)

Ross: (at the car) she's going with us? I ask annoyed

Rydel: yep

Ross: I call shotgun!

Rydel: no Ross you get the back.

Ross: why?

Rydel: cause Laura gets the front.

Ross:( growls at laura)

Laura: ( gives an innocent smile. And laughed)

We drive to my house and they leave I go to my room and doy homework then fall asleep.
