The mistake

Richie walks into Bevs house with Bill. They met up on the way to her house and decided to go together. As they walked in Richies eyes went straight to Eddie. Bill formed a huge smile when he noticed and when he saw bill smiling he freaked out and his pale white face started turning bright red. Eddie walks over and said to Richie, "hey rich! You okay? Your face is really red!" "Ohhh. Uh yea I'm just hot" "oh okay" Eddie says while turning away and walking back to bevs couch. Later on they all decided that they wanted to have a sleepover. All except Eddie because he always had to convince his mom. It was 11 pm and they were all talking about crushes, and it finally came around Richie to say who he likes. He gave many hints like how they're in the losers club and most people had an idea of who it was but they weren't sure. Right as Richie was gonna say who it was the doorbell rang. Bev jumped up and opened the door, "well my mom let me come" Eddie said and they all got excited. Eddie was welcomed in and as he came in he asked what they were doing. "Oh yea we're telling each other who we like, and it's Richies turn" bev says excitedly. " oh. Rich I thought you didn't like anyone" Eddie says confused. "Well that'd be a normal response to the person you like if they ask if you like them." Stan says "holy shit" bev says. As Richie realized what Stan said he pretended he didn't understand. "I don't understand what you're talking about" Richie said In a firm voice. "Well you know why don't you just get it over with and let the person know". Stan says. "I'm really confused" Eddie says with one eyebrow raised. Richie quickly says "it's nothing we're just fighting about" until Stan cuts him off and says " Richie will admit in front of us, that he likes someone but not in front of his best friend, I mean wouldn't you call that a little weird?" "Well I don't know. I mean I wanna know but if he doesn't wanna tell me he doesn't have to." "Okay thanks Ed's" Richie says. A few hours later they're all talking and that topic comes up again and Richie starts sweating a pool. But they stopped talking about it in a few minutes when Richie decided he had to go to the bathroom. While he was in the bathroom Stan told Eddie he needed to talk to him. When they entered a different room, Stan said, "I have a question" "okay what is it" Eddie said kinda confused, "do you like Richie?" Stan says quietly. "WHAT no why would you think that? Ugh" Eddie says while freaking out cause he knows that he does like Richie but he doesn't want anyone finding out except Mike, who was the most trust worthy of them all. "Okay well um, Richie likes you..." Stan says while trying to be as quiet as possible. "Oh well now that I know that" Eddie says "i like him too I just didn't want anyone knowing except mike" Eddie adds. "We better get back to the group" Stan says while walking back to the losers.
