i was sitting in my room, covered in bruises. my lip was split and my left eye was slightly swollen. i sigh and hear my bedroom door open, my head snapped up and i see Addison, my sister enter my room "how bad was it this time" she asked holding a med kit in one hand and my phone in the other. i looked up and she gasped and quickly rushed to my side "did they hit anywhere else this time" she asked while cleaning my face, i nodded and mentioned to my back. and she quickly took my shirt off, cleaned the massive slashes and bandaged my whole back "thanks Addison" i mumbled looking at my phone seeing abbie had texted me multipool times, ending with a text 'im coming to your house with some friends' i panicked and rushed to my window, seeing abbie's car pull up and her get out with a tall blonde guy "shit" i gasp, seeing them look at the window i was looking out of.

i quickly ran and grabbed my emergency bag from my wardrobe and open my window "i will come back for you Allison i promise" i say taking of my necklace that i have always had and gave it to her, quickly sliding down the support beam and jumping the rest of the way, rolling to not hurt when i land "oof" i wince as i land next to them, rubbing my leg "y/n are you alright" she exclaims but i quickly shush her, grabbing both of their hands and hiding behind her car. seeing the door open but quickly shutting, i sighed "y/n what the hell is going on" she said looking at me worried "oh this is alex by the way" she added. i smiled and shook his hand "i will explain later but right now we have to go quickly" i mumble watching the house like a hawk. she nodded and unlocked the car, all of us quickly getting in and driving away. i was looking out the window as abbie and alex made small talk, as we pulled up to the mansion alex asked "are you a mutant" he asked looking at me abbie's head immediately snapped towards him  "alex you cant just ask people that" she yelled at him slapping his shoulder "its fine abbie, but yes i am i have a mutation called banking, similar to abbie's but while she can copy i can copy and remember, being able to use them later in life" i smiled not bothered by the question

we pull up to the mansion, abbie parks the car and we all get out and i grabbed my bag throwing it over my shoulder. i turn around and see abbie's father, Charles Xavier "oh hello mr xavier" i say shaking his hand "how many times have i told you y/n call me charles" he said softly, when i see another man walking behind him, i stared at him but quickly looked away when abbie grabbed my hand "come on i will show you to your room" she exclaimed dragging me through the mansion explaining what will happen and finally we stopped outside a room, which was next to hers "i put a bunch of my old posters in her and some of your stuff from your house" she smiled and opened the door, revealing a massive room "holy crap dude" i exclaim dropping my bag and falling onto the bed. "are you going to explain what happened?" she asked and i explained how my mom abused me since she found out i was a mutant and how she always favoured Addison over me even though she was a mutant but hers didnt come in until a couple of months ago. she covered her mouth in shock.
