Chapter 5: The Anti-Rasetsu Group

"Sen? Are you saying you're Princess Sen's descendant?" Amagiri asked,
"Yes, it is an honor to meet you all," Chihiro bows her head,

"Ah, actually one of ours is actually your descendant too, Amagiri-san," Sagara said,
"There is?" Amagiri was quite surprised,

"And...Kazama Chikage was it?"
"Hm? What do you want?" Kazama frowned,

"There is actually someone who is also your descendant.....and he's here right now," Just as Sagara said, someone came into the room,

"Sorry I'm late," A young man enters the room,

When the group saw the familiar blonde hair, they instantly know that this is the guy Sagara just mentioned.

When he turns around, they also see the familiar red eyes that Kazama also has.
"Ren, you're the last one to come back," Sagara said with a smile,

"Is there a problem with that?" The guy called Ren said as he finds a spot to sit,

"Now now, aren't you gonna introduce yourself to our guests?" Sagara said.
"Hm?" Ren turns to look at the group from the past,

"Ren, a pleasure. I want some food," Ren said with a disinterested tone and went to sit beside Asuka,

"Yup, he's your descendant alright," Shiranui said with a grin,
However, Kazama's eyes are practically on Ren's being...

"What? Do you have something to say?" Ren asked as he noticed Kazama's gaze,

".....How is the Kazama clan?" He asked, Kazama looks disinterested, but in fact...he is a bit curious about how the Kazama clan is doing now, maybe he can find out from hi—

"How should I know?" Ren said, "I've no more business with the Kazama clan, as you just probably heard I don't use the name anymore," Ren said as he started eating his meal,

"What? You're kicked out?" Kazama raised an eyebrow, but Ren did not answer as he continue to eat his dinner.
"Answer me," Kazama said in a low tone,

Ren practically almost slammed the bowl on the table "Look, I'm not a Kazama anymore. So I have no obligation to answer you," Ren said,
"What did you say?" Kazama frowned,

"Now now, there's no need to be angry...Ren, be more polite to your elders," Sagara said,
"Ren...," Asuka also urged him,

"Haaa...look, if you wanna know about the Kazama clan then free to visit them. I haven't been there for years, they're nothing but stranger to me, now don't keep me from eating...!" Ren growled,
"Is that how you act, towards your own clan...!?" Kazama asked,

"Haaa...enough of this, I'm gonna eat outside," Ren sighs and left the room,
"Wait, Ren!" Asuka hurriedly went after him,

And now, the room is left with a heavy atmosphere.
"Hisss! Awkward....!" Koga said,

"I'm sorry to ask, but...what exactly happened?" Chizuru asked,
"Well....," Koga started telling them about Ren's past,

Ten years ago, when Ren was still only 13 years old, the previous head of the Kazama clan died. At that time, Ren was away from the clan as he had entered a military academy.

When he returned, he was suddenly thrown away from the clan, banished by his own older brother. The two never had a good relationship from the start, and so before he was kicked out...his brother ordered for him to be beaten up.

With nothing in hand, Ren is forced to live on the streets. He had tried to come back to the academy, but he was rejected by them even though he was one of the top-ranking students. In the end, he wandered around many fortress city and had to survive on his own.

Until, he was found by the man that raised Asuka. Ever since then, Ren lives together with Asuka and her adoptive family.

Meanwhile, Ren is in the middle of eating a large pack of karage chicken along with Asuka.

Asuka watches on as Ren gobbles each piece of chicken one by one. She knows him very well...he's currently pissed off right now.
"You should eat slowly...," Asuka said,

"........," But Ren just continue to eat without saying a word,
Asuka can only sigh as she eats some pieces as well...

"...What an idiot," Ren said,
"Hm? You mean Kazama Chikage?" Asuka asked,

"...if he wants to know about that clan so badly, he should just go and see them himself,"
"Well, he's not really in a situation where he can go wherever he pleases...not to mention he must've felt glad to meet someone he's related to," Asuka said,

"Hmph!" Ren scoffs,
"Make sure to make up with him, after all...he is your family," Asuka said,

"Hmm...so how about you? How does it feel like to meet your idolized ancestor?" Ren asked,
".....not bad," Asuka said,

"Hmmm, you're hyping with joy," Ren said,
"No, I'm not...," Asuka said,

But Ren could see the smile she's trying so hard to hide, "And have you told them that you're their grandchildren?"
"Ugh...!" Asuka grumbled,

"You haven't told them huh...? Anyway, who knows...maybe the guys back at the inn might've—,"

Before Ren could finish, Asuka had already fallen to the ground on her butt.
"Yup, She didn't think that...,"

However, they see that the young group are currently shaking their heads.
"Yup, She hadn't told them...figures," Takehiko said,

"What? What is it?" Hijikata asked,
"Actually, Asuka's real name is Yukimura Asuka!" Takehiko said,
