Chapter 2: The Stranger

Everyone was taken aback by the sudden appearance of this black clothed person...

"Tch! Shoot them! Shoot them down!" The Rasetsus shouted and they began firing,

Shiranui and Amagiri quickly hid behind a corner to avoid the bullets, but the stranger instead continues to advance towards the group of Rasetsus. It's body moves fast and agilely through the raining bullets, and it finally made its way into the enemy's side,

"Damn-!" Before the Rasetsu could utter a single word, it's head had flown off. The stranger had cut off it's head with it's sword.

"What the-!? He managed to cut it!?" Shiranui exclaimed,
The bullets he had fired didn't even killed them, but this person's sword was able to cut off its head!?

"Damn! He's got a Spiriton Gear! Kill him!" The Rasetsus shouted, but the stranger had no plan to retreat, in the end, the stranger had successfully shoot and cut them all down.

Now there's no sign of any Rasetsus near them. The stranger then turns toward the group, everyone suddenly had their guard up.
"What are you doing? Hurry and follow me!" The strange said, as he began to head toward where he came from.

"Hurry up," The stranger said as he sees that they aren't moving,
"Why should we trust you?" Kazama asked,

The stranger suddenly pulled multiple black balls from his pocket and threw it at the empty corridor "Because I'm gonna blow this lab into ashes, now hurry up if you guys don't wanna die!"

Hearing him said this, the others soon follows the stranger through the lab.
They turn through various corners, they all soon thought that if this stranger didn't show up, they would've surely got lost.

Along the way, they encountered various Rasetsus and also some monsters! Luckily, the stranger was able to kill them all easily as they run through the facility.
"What are those!?"
"Monsters, they're animals that have been transformed. Stay close to me and I'll get you all out," The stranger said,

Until finally, they see a large hole on the wall.

"Get inside!" The stranger said and then he threw another batch of black balls,

They all quickly run through the dark corridor, until they see a small light from afar.
"After them!" However, they suddenly hear a shout coming from behind them.

They see multiple animal like creatures going after them, "What the heck—!?"
"Just shut up and keep going!" The stranger said as he stops running and went to stand against the incoming monsters,

"What are you doing!?" Hijikata shouted,
"Keep going!" The stranger shouted back,

The others continues to run meanwhile the stranger stays back. He suddenly draws his sword, and it suddenly emitted black flames.
"Go forth, Black flames!" The stranger swings his sword and a stream of black flames burns the monsters down.

Then the stranger begins to run toward the opening, and with a snap of his fingers the black balls inside the facility suddenly went off!

Causing a large explosion across the facility, killing every Rasetsus and Monsters inside...

The group manages to get outside without any harm, they breathed a sigh of relief...
"Man, what a large explosion...!" Shiranui said,

"Kaoru...Kaoru, please wake up. We're finally outside," Chizuru said as she softly shakes Kaoru's body,
"Hmmm...uhhh?" Kaoru slowly opens his eyes, and then he pointed a finger at Kazama.

"You bastard! You deliberately did that!!" Kaoru shouted,
"It was your own fault for getting tricked," Kazama said with a sneer,

"Tch! I'll get you for this!"
"Settle down would you? Haven't you realize that we're outside?" Hijikata said,
"Hm? Y-you're right...but how did we even-?"
