Alyson's head spun as she marched down the stairs towards the dining room. The air felt tense as she took the last seat available. It was next to the head of the table, across from Luna Sarah and at the head was Alpha James. Their power combined almost made her shiver.

"Brother, it is nice to see you and your boys," James said formally his tone different than the one he used with her earlier.

"You as well brother," Daniel said his voice holding an edge that Alyson had only heard when he was yelling at his sons.

"That's enough from the both of you!" Sarah barked. "Since we have a new member of the pack, I believe we should introduce ourselves," her tone instantly changing as she looks over at her husband expectantly. He groans slightly and stands up and introduces himself.

"I believe we met earlier Ms Archerson, but I am this branch's Alpha. The only big rule we have here is that you respect our customs and ways," he says giving her a stern look at almost made her hair stand on end.

"Of course," Alyson agreed her tone respectful. He sat and Sarah stood.

"I am Sarah Maikoh and I am this branch's Luna. I hope you harbour no negative feeling after our difficult test. I'm surprised how much you learned about our people and how well you carry yourself," Sarah says. Down the line, Alyson saw another older woman who had an older baby maybe 6 months or so in her arms and was cooing him softly. Next to her sat the man who had a softer look about him. The Judgemental girl, another woman who looked a bit older than Alyson who also held a baby in her arms except this one looked only a few months old a man with the look of a Maikoh next to her. Then another boy the age of the judgemental girl, Another boy Dylan's age on the end next to Dylan.

The woman next to Luna stood up and readjusted her baby.

"I'm Rebecca Hart I'm the oldest of the Maikoh children, this is my son Jasper he's six months. Nice to meet you, Alyson," she says sitting down. The man next to her stands.

"I'm Michael Hart, Rebecca is my wife and I'm originally from Montana," Michael says quickly scoffing at having to present himself to Alyson. Alyson already disliked this man.

The judgemental girl stood next, she flipped her recently curled hair and smirked at Alyson. The girl reminded Alyson of her little sister Oliva, manipulative.

"I'm Sophia I'm the 3rd oldest," she said giving Alyson a healthy dose of bitch eyes. Alyson meets her glare with a power-filled one of her own, she wouldn't be walked all over.

"I'm the second oldest child, Justin. This is my daughter Liza she was born two months ago, and this is my lovely but extremely shy wife Julia," he gestures to a lovely woman with straight red hair and many freckles. Alyson like her instantly. The boy next to him stood.

"I'm Jackson I'm the fourth oldest, and there isn't much interesting about me, sorry," he says nervously. Alyson laughs and nods.

Lastly, the boy Dylan's age stands.

"I'm Elliot and I'm..." Elliot's words trail off and tears appear in his eyes. Instantly Alyson felt bad for him no one said anything as the boy ran from the room. Alyson's heart sank like a rock.

"I'll get him," Sarah says.

"Would it be alright if I sent Kai with you? he's good with children," Alyson asks.

"Why of course," Sarah nodded. Kai leapt from his place next to the fireplace and followed Sarah out.

"I apologize for him, he lost his parents in a skinwalker fight gone wrong about a few months ago, we took him in," James said his voice sincere. Alyson's heart ached she hated seeing children lose parents like that.
