For fear the kisses weren't true

Uninvited images of a warm embrace
Can't stop making the heart race
A night's sudden departure
A rejection being made subtle.
Get out, before the heart's ripped apart
Right now, before love craves your touch
Dwell not on the senseless feelings
Don't dream of the memories of a fling.
