"Hey honey! I'm going out!"

"Where you going tonight?"

"Just going to a work conference! Nothing special. See you later babe!"

"Alright! I'm gonna take a bath first! See you later tonight!"

It was a late Friday night. Christine Cloud was not in fact going to a work conference. No. She was lying. She was lying to her husband who dearly loved her. She was going to a bar.

She wore a nice little dress, the end of it reaching to the middle of her knees and her hips, short sleeved with a black and white horse pattern just like a checkerboard.

It was not a regular routine but a new one to her. She was tired of her husband, and wanted to find a new love in her life.

Her husband was the plain old bland husband that you would instantly think of as the thought popped up in your head. His name was John Cloud. Short hair, long sleeved shirt, tie, pants... Again, he wasn't anything cool.

The only reason she fell in love in him was because he was actually a football player at the time. But because he broke both his legs in a fatal car accident(he has robotic legs now), no one wanted him on their team anymore. Not even as a mascot.

He had been forgotten by the football community. Only few people who are still dwelling and "living" in the old days know of him now.

As John went to take a bath, she grabbed her handbag, which was sitting on the desk in the living room. And on it, a photo of her and her husband. It spoke to her. She instantly hovered between the idea of staying loyal to John as she remembered the good times in the photo.

Going to Disneyland, having their first date, their first kiss, the moment where John proposed to her, and many more great and unforgettable moments.

Thoughts were flying around, fighting in her head like little mosquitos fighting to drink a person's blood to fulfill their quenching thirst.

"Go to the bar, cheat on your husband! He's not your type and he will never be anymore!" The Devil screamed in her head.

"No! You should be loyal to him! You got married to him and you have to keep your promises!" The Angel sang.

But the devilish side of her got hold of her, as the little angel in her slowly faded away with all the good thoughts she ever had about John, she grabbed her handbag and left the house without looking back.

As she walked across the streets where she resided, Pel Drive 560, several neighbors noticed her, and she felt like a snake being watched by hawks. Then She arrived to the bus stop. There were a few people there, including an old man and a little girl with her mother. but she especially took notice to a terribly handsome boy.

He had a blue light blue shirt, six abs clear in the distance, putting on a teen boy pose, one leg up against the wall. He was tall, blond, and looked really young. He was texting on his phone. Probably to his girlfriend. Christine thought.

She sighed, though not as loud as to make the boy notice. She thought: If only when I was young, I could've found a more careful man...... I shouldn't have married that early in life...... I should have thought about it before accepting his proposal......

She married John because he was a football player, a skill he lacked now. You could even say she was selfish, marrying him only because he was bulk and famous, not loving him for who he really was, especially his personality.

After waiting for a few more minutes, the bus screeched to a stop at the station. Christine hurried on, not wasting a second of her precious time she would use later to drink in the bar, still thinking about how she could've found a better man, a man she loved not for his fame but his personality, emotion deep in her head like a man buried alive, 6 feet below where he should be.

But that was unchangeable now. It was the word of the past.
