max's pov
max asked her mom if she could spend the night and she fortunately
said yes. max packed her small bag roughly because she was in a hurry. max couldn't believe that mike had
the nerve to break up with such a sweet being like el. yes, max had a crush on her,
who wouldn't? she thought that el was
so kind, brave, beautiful, and amazing.
she smiled to herself as she pedaled
her way to hoppers cabin on her new bike.
when she got there she knocked a couple
of times before el answered the door.
max looked at el and felt a warm, tingly
feeling in her stomach. el hugged her tightly, max hugged back as she took in
the feeling of hugging the girl.
"i'm so sorry that this happened." max said, not really knowing what else to say.
"it's okay max, i have you now." el said
pulling away from the hug with a bright smile.
max smiled back at her, "so, what do you wanna do?" she asked as they walked
into el's small room.
"well i could tell you what happened." el suggested before she sat on her bed.
"only if you're comfortable with it." max said sitting down next to her.
el told max the whole story of how mike broke up with her and how confused she was over the whole situation.
"s-so mike is gay?" max asked el.
"yeah." el replied looking down at her lap.
"come here el." max said hugging el tightly
"mike never deserved a girl like you anyways."
"thank you max, thank you so much." el said as she cried into max's shoulder.
"i would do anything for you, i promise."
the two later on started playing games, watching movies, having some talks, dressing up, and way more.
"fuck, i just remembered it's a monday night. i forgot we have school tomorrow." max sighed.
"you can just go to school with me tomorrow!" el said to her with a smile.
"alright." max said with a yawn, "i think it's time we go to sleep, it's 2 am." she chuckled.
el agreed and she cuddled up next to max, max really didn't know what to do with her feelings for the girl so she hid them away. but she really did enjoy nights like these.
