Secrets part 12

Okie, so a lot of people forgot who Joe was. Let me clear the air and remind you that he is Miranda and Holly's friend. I don't blame you guys for forgetting him, he wasn't in this story as much and *SPOILER ALERT* he hasn't got much time left anyway, so it doesn't really matter. Anyways, he was supposed to go to the night club with Miranda and Holly that night, but he didn't and this part will explain why.

Enough babbling. Story time.

*Miranda*

"You know what? You and I have to hang out some time with Holly. It's been forever since we've done that," I said.

"Oh, yeah, it's been a while," he said thoughtfully.

"Since, when? Since the night we were all supposed to go to Cabana but then you stood us up?" I teased.

"Hey! You know I was puking my guts out that night!"

"Yeah, food poisoning. You shared every gruesome detail with me."

"Want me to do it again?"

"Not really."

"Not really? You left an opening for me to do it again."

"No, okay? I don't want to hear about it."

"I'ma tell you anyway," he sang.

"Joe, I did something bad!" I blabbed.

"What did you do?" he asked. Before I could even think, I told him. Everything. Everything that happened that night and everything that's happened since. When I was done, he was silent.

"Joe? Please say something," I begged, on the verge of tears.

"Meet me down at that pier in an hour," he said. Then he hung up on me. Surprised, and a little hurt, I shut my phone. Meet him down at that pier in an hour. For what? To talk about what we did? Oh god. What WE did. That wasn't just my secret! That was Lisa, Tyler, and Jesse's secret too and I just told Joe! I frantically called Lisa.

"Hello?" she answered, sounding a little irritated.

"I told Joe," I said.

"You told Joe what?" she asked.

"I told him what we did."

"You....you TOLD him? How MUCH did you tell him?"

"All of it."

"All of- WHY?"

"I don't know! I was just talking to him and before I knew it I had already told him everything! Now he wants me to meet him down at that pier in an hour," I whispered quickly. She stayed silent for a while, probably thinking.

"Meet me there in forty five minutes, can you do that?"

"I think so."

"Don't think so, know so."

"I can."

"Okay, I'll see you down there," she said. I hung up and tip toed up the stairs to pull on sweatpants and a hoodie. I really hoped she and I could convince Joe to keep that secret for us. We all would be looking at life in prison if he didn't.

*Lisa*

I can't believe that she did that. I just can't believe it. And she was the smart one out of all of us! I switched back to Jesse's line and told him what Miranda told me.

"God, she's dumb," he sighed, frustrated.

"I told her to meet me down at that pier in forty five minutes."
