CHAPTER ONE- FINALLY THE COMFORT OF THE PRINCIPAL'S CHAIR

The sound of people yelling and cars beeping, was what I woke up to. It wasn't the best way to get sleep, but hey, it is better than home, anything is better than home.

The slam of my door and the sound of my brown boots hitting the ground, as I jumped out of my black truck (Aka. my baby), was all it took for me to feel the eyes of everyone in the parking lot to look at me. But whatever they can stare as long as they want.

I could hear the first bell ring, right as I opened the side doors to the greatest place on earth (note the sarcasm). My locker, which just so happened to be next to my first
class, was untouched and shiny, because nobody would want to touch my locker, I don't blame them.

"Miss. Clair, what a lovely surprise to see that you have made it, before the second bell." Blah, blah, blah, Mrs. Silver was always a bundle of sunshine, bright and early in the morning. As I walked back to my normal seat at the back of the classroom, I ignored Mrs. Silver like always.

This school seriously needs to get new chairs, or something. Maybe I should bring in a pillow for my back...

I lean forward in my chair until my head is sitting on my desk. Last night was one hell of a night. He was even more violent then usual, not even letting me get any sleep. Today is going to be a long day.

"Miss. Clair!" My head flew up from my seat, causing my back to hit the back of the chair, "Ahhhhhh, owww, ouch, shi-" Mrs. Silver gave me a glare, "Shoot, shoot, shoot..." I continued to whisper more profanities to myself. Great, just great, my back was now going to have an even bigger bruise.

"Miss. Clair, I believe that I called your name!" Gosh somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

"What?" What is wrong with this women, like seriously I am in the middle of suffering from serious back problems.

"Excuse me? Miss. Clair is that how you talk to me? That was inappropriate, head to the office now, I think they even have a chair that you only sit in..." Ahh, I remember that chair, it has actually been a while since my fine ass has had the honor of sitting there. Grabbing my books and shoving them inside of my bag, I rushed pass Mrs. Silver giving her a kiss on the cheek, which resulted in her sending me death glares that would kill me in an instant, if only I cared.

I attempted to walk to the office with my eyes closed, considering that I knew the school like the back of my hand, cliche I know, but that is what happens when you have nowhere else to go.

"Watch where you are going." Someone grumbled as I ran into, what seemed like a wall. Wow, that actually hurt. Meanie.

"I would say the same for you, but..." I started to say as I opened my eyes. I admit my eyes probably looked like they were going to fall out of my sockets, but I quickly composed myself. No emotion. No emotion.

"But what?" I don't know what happened, but I was lost in his greyish, blueish eyes, like a storm. His brown hair which looked like it was about to fall over because of the amount of gel he put in it, looking as hard as a rock. I don't know what it was, but his eyes scared me.

"Well, I wouldn't want to hurt your precious feelings." Was my amazing reply, nice one Carolyn, nice one.

It didn't seem like this conversation was going anywhere, and I continued my walk through the office door.

"Look like someone is a little sassy..." I heard him try to mutter under his breath, but lucky for him I heard it.

"Well aren't we all just full of surprises?" I whispered-yelled back to him, turning around. I stared into his eyes, as he started to chuckle. Well yipppie, looks like we have a Mr. Cocky on my hands. Don't even get me started on a list of things that I could do to this boy. Once again I started by way back through the door. I could tell Mrs. Dave was holding back a chuckled. She knew that Mr. Cocky was getting on my nerves. How that brought entertainment to her, I don't know.

"Wait, what's your name?" UGGGGG, leave me alone Mr. Cocky. Couldn't he see that I was going somewhere? Idiotic ass, yeah. That shall be his new name.

"My Mommy told me to not talk to strangers." I replied without turning around. Throwing open the door to the office, I could see Mrs. Dave laughing. Once she say the look I gave her, she quickly covered it up with a cough.

"Boy, that was funny. I have a feeling you are going to do horrible things to that boy." I looked to my right and say the principal, Mrs. Richards, motioning me to enter her dungeon. To be honest, I was kind of scared to be in a room with her alone. She scared the hell out of me. Her brown, almost black eyes followed me wherever I went. Whenever I was sent to her office, she would yell at me, get in my face even, close enough that I could smell her coffee breath. I'm actually surprised that no one in the school gave a complaint yet. They are probably all scared of her too. But of course, she wasn't allowed to know I was scared of her, no emotion, no emotion. I could complain about her all I wanted to my Father, but it was no use, considering she was having an affair with him. Yeah, that made everything better didn't it. Just kidding.

"Let me guess, Miss. Clair, you're here because you aren't smart enough to know how to sit... Do you need me to call your master?" No, please don't call him, please don't. I swear if she did... I don't need my back to hurt even more, please don't.

I continued to send her mental messages, which I knew she was never going to receive. My fingernails started to burn, as I pressed them into the chair. I couldn't let her win. My secret, was the chair. I pictured my nails digging into her arms, but the best way to get onto her nerves, was to not respond. Be completely silent. You could say that was why I enjoyed coming here, to annoy her, show her that she could have the man that gave birth to me, but she couldn't have me, never could she have me. I knew later I was probably going to pay for this, but I really didn't care anymore.

She continued to throw threats at me, which of course I didn't reply to.

"Leave! Get out of my site. And tell your Father to pick me up at three." Bitch, she knew I wasn't going to tell him that. She just wanted to remind me that she had him and I didn't. Whatever.
