"Okay guess what?" My best friend Allysa excitedly turns to me looking like she just won the lottery.
"What's up?" I reply as I concentrate on flipping our pancakes.
"There is going to be a radio drawing to win 2 tickets to magcon!" She squealed clapping her hands and jumping up and down like a serious fan girl
I roll my eyes because honestly who cares.
"What's the big deal about them anyway? Their not even funny." I protest
"You just have to watch the vines and fall in love."
"Anyway, this drawing is at 12:00." Allysa reminded me
I glanced at the clock it was 11:52 "well we have 8 minutes so if you want to see your idols we better hurry." I replied shooing her out and finishing the pancakes.
When I got into my room she was already poised on my bed holding the phone and listening to the radio.
"Ok folks! Now, the ninth caller gets to win two free tickets to... Magcon boys!" Allysa squealed and dialed the number and waited to press call. "I'm an expert at this" she said to me.
"And call....NOW!" He shouted "one, two, three, dial!" She said pushing the button.
i waited to hear, not really expecting her to win because of the slim chance. But all of a sudden I heard her voice on the radio, him saying she was the ninth caller, and this was the day that would change my life, forever.
