Chapter 1: Marinette

"Marinette! Wake up!!"

Marinette scrambles out of bed. "Wha-?" Tikki hovers in front of her face. "You're going to be late for school!! Hurry!"

"Oh no! Not again!" she groans and rushes to get ready. How could she have overslept again? Tikki, her amazing kwami, flies around her as she brushes her teeth and her hair, and pulls on her clothes. "Gosh, Tikki! Being Ladybug is seriously hard. Why does Hawkmoth just decide to akumatize someone at the worst times?" she sighs, thinking of how she was yanked out of sleep, in the dead of night, to deal with another one of his victims. She's so lucky to have Chat Noir at her side.

Chat tried to talk about his feelings for her again, but she blew him off. She has to admit, he's... an amazing guy. He's always there for her but... her heart belongs to Adrien. Her heart jumps at the thought of Adrien Agreste. His beautiful green eyes, blonde hair. His amazing personality. His-

"Earth to Marinette!!" Tikki swoops around to get her attention and she snaps out of her daze. "Let's go! We have 10 minutes!"

She quickly opens her purse and Tikki flies in. "What would I do without you, Tikki?" she sighs. Tikki smiles and winks, before disappearing into her purse. Marinette goes down the trap door stairs and into the kitchen. Mamman and Papa are nowhere to be found, so she grabs a croissant and dashes out the front door into the stairwell. Reaching the bakery back door, Marinette calls in, "Bye, Mamman! Bye, Papa!!"

Before she could hear their response, she's out the door and into the streets.

Hey guys! This is the first chapter! I'm sorry it's short and not really in the ship part yet, but I'm working on it! I will upload as much as I can. I carry a hard copy of this book, and I write every chance I get, so expect the chapters to get longer!! Bye y'all!!
