I'll remember that name

It was a clear autumn morning, the birds were chirping and the trees were dancing in the wind.

I was woken up by my little sister climbing on top of me. She's only 2 so she's pretty clueless. BUT she keeps waking me up by poking me in the face and jumping on me.

"Beth I'm up no need to stick you fingers in my eyeballs" I said grabbing her and tickling her.

"Anna, Beth's just saying hi!" My mum said giggling.

I could tell mum was ready for work because she was wearing her usual pantsuit and heels. She's honestly so beautiful and caring. She gives the best advice too.

My dad and her don't live together anymore...they split up when I was 7 and now I'm 18 going to be 19 in a couple days. My mum and dad are still best friends and are honestly so happy but with other people. Which I find truly unbelievable. They still love each other just not in the way they should've done. My dad doesn't have a partner anymore. He used to about 3 years ago but they split because she was horrible and controlling but only I could see that. However, my mum is with another man called Ian. He's amazing. He's honestly so great with me and my little sister. Oh, and I have a big brother who is 21 he lives on his own just around the corner from us. He has crazy parties and they always last until like 5 in the morning. I've been to a couple but they've all ended in me being extremely hungover the next day, he's having one tonight actually and I'm going but not drinking because I have to work early tomorrow.

"Honey are you day dreaming again?" My mum said to me waving her hand in-front of my eyes.

"Sorry I was just worrying about what to wear tonight to Aaron's party" I said rubbing my chin.

"Well sweetie, I can't help you there, I need to get to work. Beth's going to stay with Ian's auntie tonight because when I get home from work which will be about 8 I'm going out with the girls from work and Ian's heading out for dinner with his boss to discuss utter crap basically..." she said smiling at the end.

Great so I have to sleep in my house all alone tonight and get up to a hungover mother. Great!!

"Bye mum!" I shouted as I heard the front door shut after she left my room. I seen her wave at me through the window and she put Beth in her car seat and got in the front to drive to work.

"Okay..." I said to myself.

I got up and made my bed and brushed my teeth and my hair. I went down stairs and had breakfast and decided to call Olivia. My best friend who is coming to the party with me tonight. She's so supportive and kind.

"Hey Liv, wanna come over and help me pick an outfit. I'll order takeout before we go to the party?" I said trying to convince her.

"Well when you add food then of course I'll be there, give me like an hour to sort my outfit out and pack my clothes and makeup and have a shower then I'll pick up lunch on the way over to yours?" She said.

"Yeah cool, I'll jump in the shower just now then by the time I've lay out my potential options you'll be here!" I said down the phone.

"Okay, see you soon. Oh and Aaron messaged me about ten minutes ago saying he invited this new dude he met a couple weeks ago" she said and my heart skipped a beat. I've known all of Aaron's friends since primary school...I'll be so awkward. I'm so comfortable around all of his other friends because I basically grew up with them.

"Shit, okay I'm going to be mega awkward and make a tit of myself so I need to look good to excuse my bad social anxiety" I said panicking and basically chucking my words out my mouth.

"Honey, Anna, listen, you've got this your freaking hot and you don't need to impress nobody. Just speak to him and I'm sure he'll speak back" she said trying to be comforting but I was so wound up now.

"Okay I'll try, see you soon Liv..." I said and hung up.

What am I going to wear, do, eat, say. I'm going to honestly need the world to eat me up right about now please.

Tonight will be fun.

"Let's go mother trucker!!" Liv shouted at me as we exited the bathroom where I was putting my lipstick on. I was wearing a red lace bodysuit with black ripped jeans and my vans. I had my sexy smokey eye done and my signature nice lips. I paired everything with a cute lil purse to put my lipstick, perfume and phone in. Oh and my bank card incase we need to have midnight snacks.

"Yo yo yo, look who it is, Anna how are you I've not seen you in forever!!" One of Aaron's friends, William shouted across the front garden of Aaron's massive house that he bought after school.

"Hey hey hey douchebag. You saw me yesterday, idiot. But I'm good thanks how are you?" I said giggling and his drunk ass.

William was an absolute amazing boy. He literally talked to me about everything and he was even my first kiss. Aaron knows because we kinda kissed right in-front of his house after dinner with all my friends and Aaron's friends. We are all quite a tight knit friend group. Even though they are all like 3 years older than us.

"Oh yeah but that was for like two minutes we didn't get to catch up much" he said. I could tell he was drunk!

"Well I'm here now dude!" I shouted at him.

"Come on I want you to meet your brother new buddy" he said. My heart sank then and there. I wonder what he's like.

"Uh okay" I stuttered.

We walked into the house the smell of alcohol immediately hitting me in the face.

I saw my brother and a couple of his friends taking shots. I'm pretty sure I've never seen one of the bef- shit that's the new friend. Oh no I'm going to be so embarrassing.
