Dear reader,
If you happen to be reading this, then it must mean that somehow, I, the owner of this little book, have lost it. And so I humbly ask you to please return it to 108 XXX street and leave it to a person named Dean. I thank you in advance for your kindness.
And if you do not wish to bother yourself for such an unnecessary task, then... well, I certainly can not fault you for that, heaven knows that I would not either if there were not any benefits. Just replace it exactly where you found it and have a nice day.
If curiosity nags you so to read a few pages, please do not do so as I assure you that you would not find anything that would relieve you of your boredom. Also, quite frankly, it is not any of your business, hence be a gentleman and go on your merry way. Considering your proficiency at reading, then it must mean that you are quite up in the social hierarchy and thus, have more urgent work to do than wasting your time reading a scrappy book you found somewhere. Goodbye and have a pleasant day as well.

Her story started in a little farming village.
Its inhabitants are exactly what you would imagine when you think of farmer life. Simple, modest and frugal. She was the third daughter, named Renèe, of the only wetnurse of the village, with seven other siblings.
It had been difficult for her to adjust to this new life's norms, considering she seemed to have been reincarnated in the past. Where and in which period precisely, she didn't know as no one in their village could answer her questions.
It was ironic that of all people, she -- a fourteen-year-old that committed suicide by throwing herself in the middle of the road -- had been granted this chance.
To be honest, Renèe couldn't really consider this a gift or a miracle. She had died because she wanted to stop feeling the emotions that constantly plagued her and now she had to live remembering everything she had done.
If anyone asked her -- not that anyone would since she would take this secret to the grave -- if she regretted it, she would unhesitatingly say yes.
Even if she had been alone, surely her life wouldn't remain that way forever, right? Maybe, if she had just reached out more and told them her problems, others would do something. Like comfort her and say everything would turn out okay.
But the fact was that everyone ignored her silent pleas of help, and when she did bother to go to the school psychologist and talk to her about her problems, it didn't help any at all. She had taken sessions during her last year of middle school and even on her first ear of high school, but the two women never did anything useful.
Sure, talking about it and crying helped relieve her stress a bit, but depression wasn't something that could be shooed away like a persistent mosquito and hope it to never come back. She had felt more hopeful with the second school psychologist as she had told her that she needed help outside of school as well and to do so, they needed to speak with her mother.
Renèe waited for her call for a long time, but it never came.
She had even hinted of her problems to her teachers at school, and she couldn't count how many breakdowns she had during her first and only year of high school.
She knows that many people were suffering more than her, but that didn't mean that she wasn't in pain and in need of support. Her mother knew she was meeting the school's psychologist but didn't really care unless she had to go to her school which would be a lot of hassle to her.
