Part 1 - The Road to The Ferry

Okay well, look guys this is the first book I've posted so try not to be too critical 😅 I do have a written plan for my story however I've had to change and edit quite a bit thanks to my biggest supporter Cailin2002 she has been the driving force and my motivation (as well as my editor and hopefully in the future my artist but shhh I haven't revealed that idea to her yet) behind this story and I luv this girl to the ends of the earth! XD Go show her and her books some love guys! 😆
I also wanted to meantion, this was originally a young adult book, so there will be swearing count on that. If you do not like swearing in a book that's okay, that's you're opinion but please don't ruin it for others by reporting the story. I have at least forewarned you. If you have any queries complaints or suggestions don't be afraid to leave a comment or even message me directly XD (As a bit of a loner I may be a bit excited somebody is talking to me but don't hold it against me 😂 thx again guys and enjoy the story😆)

In the time it took for my zone to end, I think the hills have gone from brown to green to nothing. I think everything has changed into absolute nothingness. I could feel my heart pounding, the jolt that awakes me from my spatial-ignorance and back to reality had in turn, lead to the event of me hitting my head on the glass I am attempting to use as a pillow of sorts. As my vision slowly, hazily returns to my throbbing head I begin to notice that everything outside the space is in fact, a white-grey nothingness. The ringing in my ears which I have attributed to the white noise that follows after one of my 'zones', slowly starts to fade as my brain decides to finally take in the sounds around me. That's right.... Still in the car... What the hell is happening though? Where are we? Now my brain was over run with confusion and anxiety not knowing what is happening. I need to-

"Oi! Shit-for-brains snap out of it already I'm talking to you!"

"Sapphira! Watch your language... Actually where did you even learn something like that!?" You know that tone your Mum gives you when you've done something wildly stupid and... She just can't believe you've done it? Like the time you put the entire roll of toilet paper in the toilet and pressed flush to see if it would flush or not. Then when the toilet clogged, attempted to come up with some extravagant seriously unbelievable lie to get out of trouble. Or was that just Sapphire? No just Sapphire? Well anyway, that's the tone Mum is using.

"Muuuum I'm not 6 anymore you know. I'm a teenager now. Why can't I swear like every other normal teenager. Plus. I didn't even swear that time I said pit I promise. What do you think I said?" Honestly the way she whines is completely stereotypical for a younger sister. I thought she would have grown out of this by now but old habits die hard I guess. Including her ridiculous lies. Like the toilet paper incident?

~3 years ago, Sapphire was 10~

"Sapphira I suggest you get in here right now, and explain to me what you have done this time to cause such a bloody mess!" At this point in time I was doing what I normally do, I was lying in bed listening to a little bit of MCR and some Florence + The Machine when Mum's almost routine summoning of Sapphire was completely undifferentiated by the noise from the earphones blaring my sweet melodies. The only reason I forgoed my aforementioned bliss, was because of the pungent odour of toilet water seeping in under my bedroom door which was literally right next to the toilet. Lucky me. Climbing out of bed in order to investigate the abnormal presence of water out of its natural habitat, the scene that unfurled before my eyes was reminiscent to a murder scene. If it was the murder of a toilet.

"Congratulations Sapphire, you managed to kill the friggin toilet. I'll go tick that one off the list."

"SHUT UP JADE NOBODY ASKED FOR YOUR OPINION!"
