I'm really getting obsessed with Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart...
So, I decided to write a parody of A Place Called Slaughter Race. The parody's gonna be about Ruby (a fan character) and her ferret friend Sally (another fan character who's actually male) as they get to know Pure Heart Valley. (No, this is just a stupid parody, not the actual musical number.)
Ruby: Pure Heart Valley? We're here?...
What can it be that calls us to this place today?
This cute hero ballet, what can it be?
Are we baby phoenixes sprouting wings to soar?
Was that a metaphor? Hey, there's a coffee store!
Sally: Ruby, you're rhyming! Boy, my spirit's climbing!
Both: As we stroll down this sweet alley
In this place called Pure Heart Valley!
Mao Mao: Hey, there, y'all! Watch your head!
Hate to see you end up dead.
Adorabat: Let's get this party rolling!
Badgerclops: Um, is that bell stolen?
Various Sweetypies: We have...
Magic lockets, monster fires, sky pirates and broken dryers
Mao Mao: That woman in the sewer,
You'll be happy that you knew her...
(Ruby and Sally: Dim!)
Dim: My children, they love the taste...
Children: Of garbage and puppy waste!
Sally: That's really deplorable...
Ruby: Well, I think they're adorable!
Mao Mao: We may be a motley crew,
But our hearts ring true...
Adorabat: And here's a tap dance I'll do for you!
Chorus: Ah, Pure Heart Valley, ooh-ooh
Ruby: My heart's in flight, and wow, it's a blast!
Feels like my dreams are coming true at last!
Sally: No trace of a frown upon your face...
Ruby: Flying so fast...
Mao Mao: Setting the pace...
Ruby: Living the life...
Badgerclops and Adorabat: Loving the chase...
All: Now is the time,
Here is the place
In Pure Heart Valley, this space!
Ruby: I know we could go, but time moved so slow...
These roads are paved with dreams...
Happy dreams, not scary beast dreams.
Sal, what would you say if we decide to stay,
