~Five years ago~
Today is the day that I get blessed by my owner. I expressed how much I wanted to go to a human school and that I want friends like me.
present day
its my first day at school and my owner lets me fly to school.
soon im at the door and i ring the bell to be let in. they ask my questions and tell me to head to the gym after giving me a schedule.
i look at the map of the school and find the gym is down the hall. i run down the hall, excited and find myself bumping into a few people. i trip over someone and keep apologizing to them. they say "don't worry, brother, you're good" i look at them for the first time, shes pretty and good looking, taller than me and looks like upperclassmen. we ask each other what species the other is and she tells me shes a phoenix, i tell her i'm an owl griffin and she looks at me wide eyed. "your type is really rare around here, why aren't you in the mountains?" i answer that my owner took me from my home and that i was never what everyone claims "normal", even at my old home. i explain that i'm half snow leopard and half snowy owl and she looks at me in awe. "you must be boiling right now if you're what you say you are" she says.
