The year is 2042, Connor had finished university a while ago. He remembers the campus like if he was there yesterday; the trees, the flowers, the enormous size of it all and the beautiful view of Detroit from his place.
Life had a surprise for him after school, a surprise so unexpected and so twisted that no one could ever see it coming. It hit him like a bulldozer, with tons and tons of force.
And here he is, laying in an alleyway with his own blood. His eyes are forced to look up to the sky, to see all the stars filling most of the emptiness and blackness of the sky. The world's become bleak, his will to live has become as faint as it could be and he had mostly given up.
As he, forcedly, stargazed and pondered on the cold concrete, he looked at every star as if it was a memory. A memory of all the good times he had and all of the bad ones. He decided to lay his gaze on one of the stars, and started to playback the good times, one by one.
