Overall: ↳ 72/100 == Backstory: ↳The normality of Illya's birth would surprise most people. His family was a relatively normal one, middle class, happy and whatever. Comfortable. His older brother often spent time with him, and the two got along pretty well. Being the older sibling, Amari often took care of his little brother too, which fortified their bond. Contrary to most families, Illya did not receive the attention the youngest child usually does, instead overshadowed by his overachieving brother, even as a young child. It was easy for Illya to explore life without his parents smothering him, and this is where he began to deviate from the path his parents laid out for him.
Into his teenage years, Illya became fascinated with guns. He made the right friends to start playing around with them, and often snuck away to meet up with these friends. It didn't help that he also came out around this time, further straining the relationship. While his parents did not condemn his sexuality, they do assume it's a phase meant to get their attention. They always complained that he ought to be more like his brother, who declared he was going into medical school, which always sort of hurt him, fracturing the relationship further. His parents disapproved heavily of how their youngest son was behaving, and made their disapproval rather obvious.
And so the feud truly began, coming to the forefront instead of being the elephant in the room. They tried everything they could think of to drag him away from the lifestyle he seemed attracted to, but nothing worked. They were rather creative as well, in ways that mildly traumatised Illya, but it didn't matter. He clung to himself, refusing to change. They even sent him away for a year when he was sixteen, to a military school. There Illya grew into himself even more without their influence, behaving just as the instructors wanted to just so he could get out of there. And when he did, he did come home. His parents even tried to get him arrested for bringing an illegal pistol into their house, but he managed to get it out before the police arrived due to his friends. This was the last straw for Illya, and he decided to leave home somehow.
These events only deepened Illya's interest in guns and gave him more skills to sneak around his parents, and shortly after his return home, he was recruited into the gang by a friend. It was difficult, but he was then able to move out while his parents went on vacation, emancipate himself, and he hasn't looked back. He makes sure to keep his location and other personal details a secret from them, although he does send them postcards when he goes places just to antagonize them. He's been thriving in the gang lifestyle, and doesn't really think he'll ever leave it in anything other than a body bag, and he's made peace with that. == Accessories: ↳Illya has a nose ring, and several tattoos. There is an elaborate rat and gun tattoo on his left upper arm, and he has an eastern dragon tattoo circling his lower forearm. The tattoos are connected, and match in style. He often wears an engraved thumb ring given to him by one of his role models when he was a kid. He treasures it, and is never seen without it. == Theme song(s): N/A
