Age : Pretty old-fashioned granted, he's not nearly as old as the gods are, but he's still quite... mature, in age.

Sexuality: Homosexual

Romantic orientation: Homoromantic

Personality: Achilles is a very tired man at this point in his life. All he really wants to do is spend time with boyfriend and live out their days in peace together, and that reflects perfectly in his personality of late.

Battle-scarred and getting older, Achilles has learned to appreciate what he has while he has it, and intends to do so with his boyfriend. He is very tired of fighting, tired of feeling like some sort of instrument or tool for the gods to use. Achilles is not as hot-blooded and aggressive as he used to be, but that doesn't mean he can't be. While he prefers not to fight if he can help it, he will do so to protect himself and his boyfriend. He is known to be a little protective at times, wanting to always be between other people and his love, but it isn't like he has bad intentions. He just wants to keep the man safe from any who may do him harm or upset him in any way. He doesn't trust most others, and that really doesn't help his protective streak. He isn't jealous per say, but he certainly doesn't like it when others look at his lover the wrong way. He's secure in the relationship, but that doesn't mean he won't punch someone for being a rude enough human being to try to steal someone else's boyfriend.

Outside of war, Achilles is a gentle soul. He knows his own strength, and is careful not to use excessive force in anything he does- the only exception being when he feels he needs to use it. Otherwise he is a very calm man who tries never to lose his temper or shout. Despite what most people think when they think of him, Achilles is a thoughtful person, someone who doesn't mind doing nice things for those he cares about, mainly his boyfriend. He's got a lot of love to give after so many years of dealing out pain, and he's ready to shower his love with it. At this point, he's sure he is with the man he's meant to be with, and he hopes to settle down with him legally as well as emotionally very soon.

Appearance: Achilles is someone who likes to keep himself in good form, and as such is very well toned with defined muscle. He looks every bit as dangerous as he can be in this way. His facial features are a bit sharp too, but he is a handsome guy. For someone who's seen a lot of battle, he sure doesn't look like he's been through all that. Achilles' pale brown skin appears mostly unblemished, and is freckled. His eyes are a muted shade of bright green. His hair is black, and it's loosely curly. Sometimes he keeps it long, sometimes he cuts it short- depends on the season. In recent years he's gotten a few tattoos. He's got a spear on his right forearm, the name of an old pet on his foot, and a seashell to represent his love for Patroclus.

Likes: Achilles likes very simple things. His favorite things are his boyfriend, swimming, sometimes running too, and the smell of wildflowers as his lover often is wearing a flower crown. He very much enjoys spending time with him, whether they are swimming, or snuggling, or when he drags him off to pride events. No matter what they do, Achilles has the patience and is open minded enough to enjoy it.

Dislikes: His list of dislikes isn't too terribly long. War is at the very top. He believes war is very destructive, or unnecessary violence on a massive scale. He tries his very best to avoid fights at all costs. He detests people who look at his boyfriend the wrong way- that's really the only reason he'd fight besides self defense, defending his lover's honor.

Powers/Abilities: Battle prowess and strength are Achilles most striking abilities. He is a war machine, tried and tested in many a battle over time. Otherwise there really isn't anything special about him.

Other:
•Although Achilles doesn't intend to fight, he always stays in shape. He feels best when he's in fighting form, even if he doesn't intend to use his body to fight anymore.
•Achilles used to have a horse, and when it died he was very sad. He has since recovered, but he does keep a picture of it in the house. He's thinking of getting another one, though.
•Although he can fight his way out of any battle, he does not know what to do with himself around children. He just doesn't know how to act, and it's kind of funny to watch.
•Not having to fight gave him lots of time to find hobbies, and a bit of gardening is one of them.
