Why?

Chapter 1

•Rose's POV•

It's been two weeks since school has opened and I'm still stuck here at summer camp. My parents just had to agree with the Camp Counselors to let us stay another two weeks, which has been hell. I'm so happy that today is the last day.

After packing up all my belongings I make my way to the check point where all the campers should meet. Everyone seems relieved that today is the last day. The Head Counselor, Harley, went onto the stage and blew her whistle getting everyone's attention. She narrowed her eyes and looked at all of us like she was hunting for her prey.

"Okay campers! Today is finally the last day of camp and I'm sure all of you campers are happy, we know that extending the stay has been an inconvenience for some of you-," oh please not some of us, all of us, "but think on the bright side, after this you all will be going back to school!" She shouted and smirked. Damn she knows what she is doing to us.

"I am going to be calling out your surnames one by one and you'll make your way to the bus, this way we'll know whether everyone is on board or not." And she started calling out names. This is gonna take a while since my surname is Rogerson. I looked around searching for my best friend. I heard Harley calling out Bunton, so I knew I still had lots of time to go find Gigi.

I made my way to her cabin and heard shuffling, I went closer and put my ear to the door. My eyes went wide because I heard her moaning. I heard her talking to someone and he said his gonna leave. I ran back quickly and pretended to be walking  to Gigi's cabin. That's when I saw Zayn walk out of the cabin. He greeted me with a simple nod and I just waved, I tried keeping my smile in. I smirked when I went in the cabin looking how disheveled her dirty blonde her looked.

"Gigi? Wanna explain to me why Zayn 'your crush' just left your cabin?" Using my fingers as air quotes. She looked at me and bit her lip, trying to prevent her from smiling.
"Okay so we kinda trying to work it out, he admitted to me that he likes me too. Then we looked into each others eyes, and BOOM he kisses me. Then things may have gone too far." She said smiling.

"Okay so are guys gonna date or what?" I asked curiously.

"Well we will still see each other and get to know each other more. But he asked me on a date for next week Saturday." Gigi said excitedly. "So I am going to need your help with my hair and make-up." Pointing at me with a smile of excitement.

"Yay! I can't wait." By now we were both jumping up and down school squealing. "Okay but we both need to go now, otherwise Harley is gonna be pissed.

We were in the bus driving for about an hour and half. Gigi was laying on my shoulder sleeping while I was reading a book. Most of the teenagers in this bus was asleep. We had a tough two weeks at this camp, but we made it out alive Thank God. I looked at the front and saw Harley was also sleeping but she had earphones in her ears, her eyebrows were knitted together and she was frowning. I'm am so glad we didn't get her wrath for being late.

Two hours later and the bus stopped at our school Kingston High. There were a few parents waiting outside for their son or daughters arrival. The door of the bus opened and Harley stood up.

"Okay campers, we will get out for a stretch. If your parents are here to pick you up, you will have to get back on the bus. Mr Rodriguez will drop you off at home. As for the others you guys and girls can go home with your parents." She walked out and let everyone else walk out.

"Gigi we at school. Wake up." I whispered in my best friends ear. She opened her eyes and blinked rapidly then yawned. Gigi stood up and took our bags off from the top shelf. I thanked her and we walked out off the bus.
