Ummi the only daughter to her parents is a happy and always a jovial person , she laughs in every situation she finds her self since she was a kid.
She Is her fathers pride. Her father Nazeer loved her,and she also loved him .they loved each other soo much and couldn't bear anything like anger between them..tough her mother bilks is a very strict woman Ummi always loved her too ..but sometimes bilkis fails to understand her daughter
Ummi is a 9 year old child and she Didn't have a look of normal hausawa she is fair in complexion and has a very long hair she look more like a Sudanese... and she also has 3 brothers Saleem
Being the eldest followed by Khalid and habeeb
She lives in kaduna..unguwan rimi GRA ,her father is a big business man and her mum is a business woman who buys and sells laces,materials and ankara(Atamfa)..
UMMI!!! UMMI!! UMMI!! Bilkis called out from her well furnished room
Naam ummi answered standing up from the sitting room large chair and hurried to her room
Naam mama ummi answered
Kizo muyi karatu(come let us read) all your siblings are present here and she nodded then made her way to the side of the bed and sat beside her brother habeeb .bilkis also followed her and sat in their front and started repeat after me. All nodded
Allahu lailaha ila Huwal hayya lukayum(ayatul Kursiy) all followed what she said and everything was going smoothly until Saleem looked at ummi and did a funny face,seeing that ummi couldn't hold back her laughter and she let out a small laugh, bilkis who was asking them to repeat the ayatul kursiy after her ..looked up with anger shown all over face
And she looked at ummi In great dispair. Ummi seeing that gulped down a lump that was stuck in her throat and looked down but she still couldn't hold back the laugh thinking of what her elder brother (Saleem ) did.before she knew she felt a hard slap on her right cheek. When she looked up and met her mothers gaze with one hand one her cheeks while tears were rolling down her checks .bilkis added bakida kunya bakida hankali Ina koya miki abu kina min dariya banzan yarinya pitan min daga daki(dont you have shame,don't you have brain ,am teaching you something and your are laughing, get out of my room) ummI started sobbing ma.... just then bilkis stopped her ,didn't you hear what I said (dan bakida kunya Ina koya miki abu kina min dariya) bilks glared what is the funny thing here seff .ummi sobbed while trying to justify herself but bilkis being the stern human shouted get out right now!!!! And that is how ummi stood up and left the room sobbing leaving her mother and siblings in her room ...
Ummi went to her room and cried her heart out before sleep consumed her..
