Chapter 3

Of course I had to get my coffee. I needed my coffee in the morning or else I didn't fully wake up. So I drove to Wonderbucks. I got my regular that I was used to getting back home in Texas, a Vanilla Latte with 4 shots of carmel. Don't judge it's actually pretty good. After getting my daily dose of my coffee, I still had about two hours until I had to go to class it was only a little after eight. I planned on doing some makeup shopping but then I thought about getting tickets to go see Billie Eilish and I needed to go shopping for an outfit if I was going to go. I literally have nothing worth wearing to a concert back in the dorm.

I turned up my music in my car which was Billie Eilish's Bad Guy. Which I love by the way. I found this clothing store called Rose. I parked my car and went in the store. When I first walked in, my first thought was that wanted something trendy but comfy for me to move in. I found this:

After buying my outfit I started to order my ticket. I then thought about buying two. One for Gina and one for me. It would be great to have someone go with me instead of going alone. I would have to text her and see if she wanted to go with me. I checked the time and realized that I had 30 minutes until my first class which I had to hurry up and put my shopping bags on my bed and make sure I don't look a hot mess.

After Class
... I'm so tired by Lauv ft. Troye Sivan is what I was listening to while studying when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I pulled out my earbuds and turned around to see the last person that I wanted to see. Adien. "What do you want you are interrupting my study time.'' I just wanted to let you know that we have a study session this tommorow at 8 in the morning, he said with that cute smile of his. Wait what am I thinking. Yea whatever, I say trying not to blush. And just as quickly as he appeared, he disappeared. I just don't understand him at all. I went back to studying as if nothing happened.
   After studying I went back to the dorm room to get ready to hangout with Andrea. So I put on the outfit that I had chose the night before. I was on my way to Five Guys and parked in the front when I made it there. I went inside and saw Andrea at the booth closest to the window near the back. I sat down and smiled. "Yazmine!!", she said. I hope I didn't keep waiting for too long, I say nervously. "No, no, you didn't. You look really cute by the way. Who are you dressing up for?" No one I just thought that I should look presentable when I go out. "Anyways, I'm so glad you could make it. I was worried that you weren't going to come and give back the gift I gave you.", she said. I touched the diamond necklace that I was wearing and thought to myself  "I almost was going to give it back, but I decided not to." I shook my head and said "No, I thought it was sweet that you still thought of me as your best friend, even after all these years." We ended up talking and laughing for hours. It was nice to hang out with an old friend.
When I got to my room I laid down on my bed looking up at the ceiling. I got the yes from Gina, she wanted to go with me to the concert. We got really good seats too. I fell asleep without really knowing that I did. I woke up and checked my phone for any missed calls or texts and notifications. I saw that I got two texts from two different numbers that I didn't know. The first it was obvious who it was once I read it. Aiden.... How the hell did he get my number? The next text I wasn't sure who it was. I do know it was someone from the school. "Hey Gina do you have any idea who this is texting me." She was already up and dressed and walked over to see what I was talking about. "Oh, that's my brother. I gave him your number. Sorry." I sighed, I wanted to be mad but o didn't feel like getting mad right now.
   Today was Friday and I didn't have any classes today, I thought. I have to get ready to go tutor Aiden. I was kinda excited. I put on this outfit and did this to my hair:

It took forever to get ready because I had to straighten my hair. After finally finishing, I put on some lipgloss and headed out the door.
