Part 2-Shining; Arabella.

Yawning, a dark-haired young adult threw off her soft, white bed covers and sat at the edge of her bed; which made a slight dip in her mattress. She placed her bare feet on the cool laminated floor and a small shiver ran through her spine as the cold winter temerature wrapped around her like a blanket.

Arabella Tivona was the symbolic elegant, graceful, beautiful girl. Black waves of hair were currently tied in a loose, glossy bun; when down the black locks layed delicately on her fragile shoulders, cascading her smooth coffee coloured skin. She had high cheekbones, perfect lips and long thick eyelashes that lay above big innocent russet eyes. But above all, her face held such serenity, gentleness and stillness that was awe-inspiring which made her look so...unique.

Excitedly, Arabella padded to the fogged window and pulled the curtains back, with one hand she wiped the mist away. Gazing out the window she grinned a genuine smile as she spotted the bright pure white snow and was put in a trance-like state. Joy swelled inside her like a child's joy waking up on christmas day, it was so beautiful, so peaceful. Taking one last look at the breathtaking scenery her hand left the window. The curtains swung closed.

"Bella?"

Her frail neck snapped towards her wooden door. He stood there tall, Tae, Arabella's younger brother.

"School's been cancelled"he leaned his right shoulder on the door frame with a cocky smirk present.

Tucking back some whisps of escaped hair behind her ear Arabella nooded with a smile. "That's good, I've been meaning to visit Ciara ever since she left." Arabella's voice sounded thick with velvet.

"Mum said she's taking the opportunity to stay with Aunt Cassidy in Ireland for a week."Tae laughed a little.

Arabella frowned "You're not thinking about having house parties are you?" Disappointment swam in her voice.

Sighing Tae stood straight, no longer leaning on the frame. "Bella liven up a little, you're not eighteen yet, you don't need responsibilities yet."Tae then turned and sauntered downstairs.

Arabella knew she wasn't eighteen yet but she will be soon, besides she has always been mature for her age. She was a realist, she had to learn to grow up.
