She turned around quickly in shock. Casey got up and backed away slowly, mentally screaming. What stood in front of her didn't just scare her, it terrified her. "What are you doing here?" asked the creature. Delphisis. The one who gave this forest it's name. Casey picked up her things and slowly put them in her bag. "Uh.. u-uhm..."
She booked it, running at the speed of light (almost), with Delphisis on her tail. "Come back here!" Delphisis's voice echoed through the forest, causing Casey's ears to ring. She got far enough to where Delphisis couldn't see her. She ducked behind a tree and the monster ran right past her. "DAMMIT" the monster screeched, soon as it realized it had lost her.
She looked around for cover, when she spotted a cave. Casey went into the cave and sat to the farthest wall sobbing slightly. She was so scared. She sat there for a bit before getting up and grabbing her spear out of her bag. She grabbed her bag and walked out of the cave. She was on the move.
No stopping now.
