Zeus ran one hand lazily through his hair as he swirled his fingers around carelessly at his side, his mind devoid of thought. He closed his eyes lightly as he let out a deep breath. He shot up quickly from his seat, cursing himself beneath his breath. The tiny thunderclouds that he had unknowingly formed above his lap with that simple motion of his hand had burst into rain and lightning. His clothes were soaked through and the lightning had given him a rather shocking jolt to the groin.

He turned his head and sighed. A stunt like that would have once caused an eruption of laughter,  now it did little to break the silence. It had been too many years since they had all been together.

What was the point of being the King of the Gods, if all the Gods had left? Even the most faithful in his family had departed, deserted him to this perpetual loneliness. A fit of anger started to bubble inside of him, his fingertips sparking with electricity. He clutched the table at his side to try and calm himself but the power that was gathering in his hands was becoming too great. The table shattered into innumerable pieces further fueling Zeus' anger.

His mind was made up.

He was going to find them all and bring them back together.

Whether they liked it or not.

Zeus straightened out his suit as he formed a fist and knocked on the golden embroidered door before him.

"Fuck off," A voice called from inside. "Don't come knocking on my door expecting my help!"

"Hera." Zeus spoke through the door.

"Don't 'Hera' me!" She screeched. "Don't you stand there and pretend that you haven't already asked the world of me twice over! Don't you stand there and expect me to help you once again when you have done nothing to help me, ever!" Zeus could feel his eyes starting to roll to the back of his head.

It was completely apparent why they hadn't worked out. They were completely incompatible. She was still ranting on the other side of the door but his patience was completely spent. With one swift gesture of his arm, the door was no longer an issue as he found himself standing in the middle of Hera's overly extravagant living area.

She shrieked, throwing herself behind a large vase that was adorned with her own face. Zeus rolled his eyes.

"Hera, I've seen it all before," He spoke bored. "A thousand times." He cast his eyes around the room. "I'd say I love what you've done with the place but that would be a blatant lie."

She grumbled beneath her breath as she pulled a dressing gown over her slim shoulders. Her long dark hair tumbled down her back.
